A huge Coro retro gilt sterling coat pin from the 1940s. This 4-1/2" x 2-5/8" brooch features branches and flowers with aqua blue claw-set foil-backed rhinestone centers in a swirling holder. It has a safety catch, it is signed CORO STERLING with a small etched S16, and it is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs, but please note that the blue rhinestones are a little foggy - the settings are open-backed...

This mid-century, handmade pendant is decorated with an applied pinwheel motif. The chain is sturdy and has a secure spring-ring clasp; it is original to the piece. The pendant is marked sterling on the back and is nicely oxidized for a dramatic effect. Clasped, the entire necklace measures 13 ½ inches long. Weight: 40.5 grams

A vintage modernist sterling silver stylized brooch with a Pre Columbian bird by the noted Peruvian silversmith, Graziella Laffi. The bird has a teal blue enamel eye and an oversized head. May be a duck. Body has an additional layer of sterling. The brooch is curved for a 3-D effect.

A double link with twist sterling silver charm bracelet with 15 charms circa 1970s. This 7-1/2" long and 3/8" wide bracelet has a box clasp with a safety loop and it is signed GB STERLING...

This handmade abstract pin features a biomorphic design composed of a slice of translucent banded carnelian with an unpolished edge, secured within a biomorphic frame of thick, hand-wrought sterling silver wire. It is unsigned and bears only a sterling mark. A rollover clasp secures the pin. The stone is in lovely condition, and is held in place by small silver bands applied across the front and back frames; there is no adhesive. The pin measures 2 inches by 2 1/2 inches.

It is constructed from a group of four silver loops encircling the next four, and so on; the loops range from 3/16" to 7/16" across. This beauty is stamped .835 and it has a maker's mark (unidentified). It has a spring-ring clasp, and it weighs 57 grams...

This handmade wide band ring features a random design of molten drops on a textured surface. The irregular band shape has an upturned edge along the top, where the opposite edge comes to a rounded point. It bears the post-1967 Italian mark for silver, hallmarked for the city of Siena; the hallmark is double-struck, so the maker's number could read 722, 712 or something similar...

Silver lipstick cases / holders from Italy are not a rare occurrence yet how often do you come upon a signed Peruzzi example? As difficult to find as it is beautiful, this one has it all - the signature, the warm patina, the delicate floral etched decoration and tiny little sparkling red rhinestones at the center of each dainty flower. Even the tab that holds the pop-up mirror is shaped like a multi-petaled bloom. A collector's dream-come-true the case measures 2/3" wide and deep by 2 3/8" tall...

This bracelet is unmarked, but tests as silver, probably .800. It is a very high quality early marcasite and silver piece, set with amethysts and dated conservatively from the 1930s. All marcasites are intact and the faceted amethysts show no wear or damage. The bracelet has a secure tongue and groove clasp; the silver safety chain is also very secure, with an unusual S-hook closure. The bracelet measures 8 1/4 inches long by a little over 1/2 inch wide. Rare modernist earrings by Irvin and Bonnie Burkee, a husband and wife team who created unique jewelry in their studio from the late 1940s until the 1970s. The minimalist aesthetic sterling silver earrings are circa 1950s, and feature discs each decorated by a single silver sphere. The earrings are screw-backs, and the tops measure .75" in diameter.
