An elegant 970 silver and amethyst necklace by Taxco silversmith Antonio Pineda. The square bezel set cabochon amethyst links alternate with square silver links and terminate with a secure silver push in clasp. The necklace measures approximately 17 1/2" end to end ( it is curved so hard to measure exactly), is 3/4" wide and weighs a very sturdy 157 grams. The links are double strung on silver chain and the necklace is in fine condition with no chips or cracks to any of the stones...

A beautiful and rare 950 silver bracelet with cabochon stones of amethyst,green beryl, pink tourmaline, and citrine by Brazilian jeweler Haroldo Burle Marx who was the brother of Roberto Burle Marx, also a jeweler and notable landscape architect. This bracelet was designed for and sold at The Altomar Collection, which was a small boutique in the Watergate Hotel in Washington D.C. from 1982 until 1999. It measures 5 3/4" around in the inside plus an additional 1 1/4" opening...

A delightful and very rare Victorian pin depicting a woman's "safety bicycle". With a chain drive connected to the back wheels and structural supports that left room for petticoats, these bicycles gave women unexpected freedom. Susan B. Anthony claimed that bicycling "had done more to emancipate women than anything else in the world." This pin is worked in silver gilt and set with rose cut Bohemian garnets. A very rare piece of sterling silver Arts and Crafts jewelry by the San Francisco Metalsmith, Harry Dixon. This unusual ring, in a size 6 1/2 depicts a fish swimming in waves. Very three dimensional. Appears to have a gold colored eye, perhaps 14K gold overlay. Marked with a stamped Harry Dixon San Francisco and a scratched in 925. Has some minor surface scratches. Fine quality.

A wonderful figural fob seal depicting England’s patron St. George defeating the dragon. The design is worked primarily in silver, but the horse’s bridle, the dragon’s dorsal ridge and the saint’s spear and shield are worked in yellow gold. The gold base encloses a flat malachite that was never engraved. Tested and guaranteed sterling silver and 18K gold.

Amazing very big antique circa 1910 leaf form brooch in sterling silver with a large egg yolk butterscotch Baltic amber stone in a bezel setting. With a C clasp. Gorgeous & extremely rare this vintage abalone & sterling silver bracelet was designed & signed c. 1950 by Taxco, Mexico modernist artist Antonio Pineda (1919-2009). The bracelet measures 2 inches high at the front center & 3/4 inch at the back spring. Wearable interior length is 6 1/2 inches. Screw back earrings are 1 inch high. Bracelet spring is tight and secure. The hand carved abalone leaves have an exquisite iridescent sheen. All in excellent condition with a beautiful warm patina.

This beautiful turquoise necklace is comprised of disk shaped turquoise beads, spaced with black glass beads. It has been recently re-strung and is ready for wear. It has a new sterling silver toggle clasp. The strand measures approximately 23" long. The beads are graduated and measure approximately 3/4" in diameter at the largest; and 1/4" at the smallest. It is in excellent condition and the overall weight is 227.5 grams.

Impressive & rare this hand forged sterling silver belt buckle inlaid with chrysocolla quartz was designed & signed by American & Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). The buckle measures 4" X 2" and weighs 83 grams. It will accommodate a 1 inch strap. Signed on the reverse SPRATLING de MEXICO, STERLING & eagle 13. A fine Art Deco sterling silver pendant necklace by famed illustrator and jewelry designer McClelland Barclay. The square pendant shows a water lily and lily pad along with several buds in a stylized form. The pendant is suspended from its original silver chain. The reverse is marked "Sterling Silver" and is signed "McClelland Barclay".

We have a properly signed Antonio Pineda crescent necklace styled with black onyx and having a height of one inch. The weight is 111 grams of quality construction. A natural dark patina is on this treasure and it gives a smoky rich look but many wish Pineda's to be shiny so I will leave that up to the buyer. It sits up on an angle and lays perfectly on the neck with a 17 inch wearable length...

Early & rare this vintage sterling silver, turquoise and coral bracelet was designed circa 1930-48 by Matilde Poulat. The dove (palomas)at the center is raised so it appears to be inflight. Poulat signed her designs Matl, a variation on the Aztec word for water. The center panel is 1 1/2" across x 1 1/4" high. Length is 7 1/4". Each link measures 1" high. Hallmarked Matl & Matl 0.925.
