A delightful Imperial Austrian silver brooch set with three reverse-carved Essex crystals by the Imperial jeweler Georg Adam Scheid. The domed pin is finely engraved in a basket-weave motif and is pierced by three Essex crystals, each depicting a lap dog, perhaps a Pekingese. The dogs are well carved and colored, with tiny blue bows under their chins. The crystals never had a mother-of-pearl backing like those produced in England and France...

This ring has a beautiful design and is a size 9. It is large, measuring 1 1/4" (from top to bottom). The band measures 1/4", wrapping around to display its swirly, modernist design. It reminds me of a miniature, wraparound bracelet, as the top and bottom "swirls" are not fused together. It is marked MEXICO and 925. It has good heft and is in excellent condition.

This elegant necklace by Los Castillo features thick links in the shape of Leaves done in heavy sterling silver repousse. Very well made with links connected by a pin rivet to give the piece movement. Measures 15" long, 3/4" wide and is nice and heavy at 98.4 grams. Hallmarked Los Castillo Taxco, Sterling Made in Mexico, 329 and the eagle 15. It has a secure box clasp and is in good condition with a lovely patina. One of the nicest (and heaviest) examples of this design we've seen.

Intricately constructed in 970 sterling, this Antonio Pineda bracelet weighs a hefty 99 grams. It stands 3/4 inch high and has a wearable length up to 6 3/4". Each of the 9 gorgeous oval stones are 1/2" long. The design allows the stones to move or float freely within their frames. All stones are in beautiful condition. Hand wrought, this large, detailed, sterling silver belt buckle was created c.1940's by Taxco, Mexico artist Hubert Harmon. Circa mid-century, this Antonio Pineda bracelet features ten oval moonstone cabochons nestled between ten curved silver panels.

This is a chunky modernist piece executed in almost pure 97% silver. The moonstones are magnificent, exhibiting a beautiful blue adularescence when the light hits it. It has a seamless appearance when closed, as the push button for the clasp is topped with a moonstone.

Here is a bold, mid-century modernist money clip. It's composed of a flexible but sturdy forged-wire frame, with an applied mounted piece of rosewood in a trapezoidal shape. A silver half-bead is applied to a crossbar near the top. The wood has a polished surface and shows no damage or cracking. The clip is unmarked, but tests as sterling. It measures 2 ½ inches long by ¾ inch wide.

This beautiful ring is a size 6. The front of the band displays 3 central, square boxes, each with 4 square marcasites, surrounded by 8 bezel-set circular marcasites on a decorative oxidized inner surface. The band tapers front to back from 1/2" to 1/4". The inside is marked / stamped 925. This lovely ring is in excellent condition.

This set consists of a spectacular, large bracelet with matching earrings. Each onyx stone is bezel set. The bracelet measures 6 3/4" x 1" x 3/8" and has a V-spring and Box Clasp. This bracelet is hallmarked Mexico Silver and it is a refreshing take on a Spratling design but leaving it to be all of it's own originality. The bracelet is 1.5in. tall in the front with the repousse band goes to .50in. in the back. This is a heavy piece in your hands and is 2.5in. in diameter. There are 6 turquoise snake eye stones on the cuffs of the hands. The amethyst balls are free of any damage and they are 5/8th's in. wide and have a gorgeous deep purple color.

This traditional, Norwegian solje pin, c. 1950’s, was made by Aksel Holmsen. It has an appealing stamped design and six dangling, concave disks. The back is signed, “NORWAY STERLING 925 S,” and has the Holmsen maker’s mark (2 overlapping silversmith tools--see pictures). The brooch has a C-catch and a diameter of 1”.
