Circa 1940's, this is a spectacular necklace from Marcel Boucher. It's hand-wrought and extremely substantial, weighing in at 158.2 grams, or over 5 troy ounces.

Boucher was born in Paris, and apprenticed with Cartier. He has a reputation of being perhaps the greatest costume jewelry designer. In the 1940's, he produced silver jewelry in Mexico under the name Parisina. In 1957, he opened his business in New York.

Circa 1950's, this belt buckle is was produced by Antonio Pineda. I have never seen this one before, and it's quite similar to one which William Spratling designed. Antonio Pineda began his career working for William Spratling. It's hand-wrought with criss-crossing lines which are deeply carved with oxidized recesses.

An elegant Art Nouveau silver brooch depicting a maiden smelling a rose. She is surrounded in a bower of climbing roses and enclosed in a frame of whiplash curves typical of French Art Nouveau. The clasp is marked for silver and bears the maker's mark of Fernand Boursot, who opened shop in Paris in 1894. Intricately constructed of sterling silver & stone this piece was designed c. 1940's by American & Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling. Measuring 2 1/2" X 2 1/2" the pin weighs 40 grams.
