A vintage sterling silver heavy brooch by Artemio Navarrete. Navarrete helped William Spratling open his Taller de Las Delicias in 1931. He opened his own workshop in 1936.
This example is signed with the conjoined AN, Taxco and 940 for better than sterling silver. Pre Eagle, (pre 1949).
Measures 1 7/8" across and 2" high. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. The brooch has some minor tarnish and surface scratches...
Beautiful hand made sterling belt buckle by Novak, c.1970's. This post-modern arts & crafts 2-part buckle has a striking shiny finish,is hand hammered, and has granulated silver balls. It is signed "NOVAK" on each piece. Not marked sterling but guaranteed, and is part of wonderful collection. Large, it measures 3 1/4" wide by 2" high. A lovely Arts and Crafts period 830 silver high relief rose Skønvirke brooch circa 1900. This antique 2-1/8" x 1-5/8" pin has a long c-clasp and it is marked simply 830. It is quite likely this piece is Scandinavian, it is entirely consistent with early Skønvirke ("beautiful work") made popular by fine Scandinavian silver makers. It greatly resembles early Bernard Hertz work, but is not signed, other than the 830 silver mark...
This sterling silver bracelet is decorated with Francisco Rebajes’ signature leaves. Each leaf serves as a link to the alternating square panels. The brushed surface shows some tarnish, but hardly any signs of wear. The tongue-and-groove clasp is very secure, with the Rebajes and silver marks impressed on the top. The bracelet measures 7 inches long by 1 inch wide at the leaves. Weight: 49 grams
Is this made in Taxco Mexico? Lizard gekko silver set is simply stamped "Sterling" on the belly of the pin and the turn wheels of the screwback reptile earrings.

We have an Antonio Pineda Onyx tear drop vintage bracelet that is a wearable length of 7.25in. and a striking 1.75in. tall. These Mexican bracelets were made in relationship to the size of the stones that were obtained and this is one of the tallest tear drops I have found. The weight is 120 grams heavy and is collector and museum quality.
Round mod geometric applied designs on dome post earrings script signed "Sterling" "Howison" with large sterling earring backs. Julie Howison a jewelry designer from Portland Maine. These were hammered into a dome shape then a spiral, triangle and squiggle were applied. Total weight of 1/2 Ounce or 15 Grams and are 7/8" across and 1/4" heavy hollow deep.

This distinctive ring features an organic design with an asymmetrical domed form. It is textured with wavy narrow ridges similar to seaweed. The inner band bears the mark of Spanish jewelry designer Joachim S’Paliu as well as the mark for sterling silver and dates 1960s-1970s. There is a curious crack on one side of the ring that extends up inside the top (see pictures 4 and 5). It doesn't appear to be damage or affect the stability of the ring...

Heavy gauge handcrafted silver bracelet in a modern biomorphic design. Sigi, cousin of Los Castillo founder, Antonio Castillo, spent years working with Los Castillo, Salvador Teran, Felipe Martinez, and Margot de Taxco before opening his own shop in 1952.

A vintage pair of cuff links from the American Studio Modernist jeweler, John Lewis, in sterling with a top layer of 14K gold. Have a bark like texture around the edges. Measure 1" long and 1/2" wide. Marked Sterling, 14K and with the crossed JL mark of the artist. Swivel toggles hold securely. Very nice condition, have some surface scratches. These have not been monogrammed. Quality set.
