A vintage sterling silver hammered money clip made by the Gaylord Silvercraft in Wallingford, CT. The Gaylord Farm Sanitarium was active from 1923-1944 and was organized by William Waldo Dodge.

Measures about 2 3/8" long and 1" wide. Marked Sterling, Hand Wrought and with an impressed upright hammer flanked by two wings for the maker. It currently has a 'G' monogram, but could probably be buffed out.

Fine work, quality piece.

Big and early as indicated by the .900 silver alloy used to craft it, this Mexican Deco silver repousse "mask" brooch I particularly love because of the gorgeous stone out of which the portrait is carved as well as the pronounced repoussage of the frame that surrounds it. A pair of hammered sterling silver buckles by Edward H. Breese, who worked in Chicago from 1921-1940.

Measure 2" across and 1 3/4" high. Each one is marked on the back with the hallmark of EHB in a triangle and style number 126. They are also marked Sterling and Hand Wrought.

They are made from thick sterling and have a dark patina. Would make wonderful brooches.

Rare example from a talented Silversmith.

An early Skonvirke 826 silver brooch with a moth motif. Signed on the back with what looks like stylized HKC in a shield and 826 S for the silver standard. Most probably from Denmark. 826 was the silver standard used in Denmark at the time.

Measures 1" in diameter. Has an older 'C' clasp which holds securely. May have had a repair to the hinge at some point.

Fine condition, warm patina. Wonderfully crafted. Classic Arts and Crafts design.

Ca1930 A sterling set with small marcasites and cultured pearls by German designer, Theodor Fahrner. One tiny marcasite is missing on an earring. The screwback earrings hang 2.25"; the pin measures 2" round. Each are marked 925 along with the TF logo.

This Cini sterling Zodiac Sagitarius pin is 2" square.

A vintage c1930s-40s Mexican sterling silver double or sweater pin with two donkeys joined by a chain. They measure 2-3/4" x 1-1/4" and 2" x 1-1/8"; the brass chain is 1" long. Each donkey features a large claw-set natural malachite cabochon stone and each pin has a safety catch. It weighs 26.6 grams, it is stamped MEXICO SILVER with a joined NF maker's mark, and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

Designed by Frederick Davis in 1940's, this bracelet measures 1 3/4 inches wide X 6 7/8 inches long. The earrings are 1 3/4" long X 3/4" wide. All in beautiful condition. FD hallmarks on reverse. Slide in clasp tight & secure. Davis designs are included in WILLIAM SPRATLING AND THE MEXICAN SILVER RENAISSANCE by Penny Morrill. FD designs are included in the permanent 20th Century Mexican Silver Collection at LACMA.

An Eatons sterling & marcasite bar brooch from 1920 1930. This attractive Art Deco 1-5/8 x 1/2" bar pin has a nice openwork design, it has a safety catch, it is signed STERLING with the E in a diamond mark (for Eaton's, Canada), it weighs 2.8 grams and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

A stunning Art Deco vintage channel-set paste necklace c1930s. Country of origin is almost certainly Germany, and this 17-1/4" bracelet is 1/4" wide; the clear white round paste stones sparkle beautifully. The twin rows are channel-set and have pins linking each segment, beautifully made and finished...

A pair of vintage sterling silver hand wrought floral brooches by Stavre Gregor Panis, who was a member of the Boston Society of Arts and Crafts. The round one may be a poppy. The smaller one may be a gladiola.

May purchase them individually or as a pair.

The larger round brooch measures 1 1/2" across. The smaller brooch measures 1 1/2" long and 7/8" at the widest.

Both brooches are marked with the SGP in a shield hallmark and Sterling. The smaller one also has a stylized 'G'...

A pair of Chinese jade gilt silver wirework earrings from the 1920s-30s. They have genuine Chinese jade cabochon stones and these 1" x 13/16" jadite or jadeite screw-back earrings are stamped STERLING on the closures, they have gilding over the fine silver wirework and they are in the original silk lined and trimmed box bottom (top missing, some damage to box). The top of the earrings are low grade silver, and the earring screw backs are sterling...

Three old jade medallions carved in the shape of a butterfly and lotus flowers and set in silver adorn this beautiful Chinese brooch. Definitely an early 20th c. piece as attested to by the clasp's pin that protrudes beyond the sterling frame, this is a delightfully airy pin, its delicate lightness enhanced by the subtle colors in the stones and the winged creature it represents. If you love classy, elegant jewelry, this brooch is for you. It measures 2 5/8" long by 1" wide and weighs 15.2 grams...

Here is a wonderful, old, museum-quality sterling Jensen charm bracelet with eight charms. Five charms (frog,elephant,turtle,fish and seahorse ) carry the 1933-1944 Jensen mark. The ship charm, stamped CGH (C. G. Hallberg, Stockholm, Sweden) is dated N8 for 1939. The well- defined heavy dog and monkey charms as well as the enamel clogs are unmarked.The fancy link bracelet is stamped 22 along with the Jensen logo and measures 7” x 1/4" . Total weight 28.1 grams.

An Art Deco Danecraft deer in the woods sterling pin from the 1930s-1940s. This great vintage sterling silver 2-1/8" x 1-3/4" brooch depicts a deer feeding in the forest. This pin features a safety catch, a true Deco style, and it is stamped STERLING with an HB maker's mark, and a somewhat scratched out Danecraft mark can be seen. Not sure how long this mark was used, but we have seen this combination on a few older Danecraft pieces...

A Chinese articulated silver gilt fish pin circa 1930s. This fantastically detailed and superbly constructed 2-1/2 x 3/4" fish pin is lushly gilded and it is fully articulated and it has natural coral eyes. It has a safety clasp and the mouth is hinged and opens (for what purpose we don't know). It is unmarked and unsigned, it weighs 9.5 grams and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...
