Also has London import marks, GJLd and the mark for London. The date mark is so small we couldn't make it out. In very nice condition with minor nicks and scratches. Can be worn facing up or down. Great modernist design.

Made in Mexico City and following the “Matl school of repoussage” this early Deco silver and turquoise bracelet is anonymous and … gorgeous. Textured repousse feather motifs are predominant here, an allusion to the divine Feathered Serpent of ancient Mesoamerican civilizations. This Extraordinary 1950's sterling silver & amethyst necklace was designed & signed by renowned Taxco, Mexico modernist Antonio Pineda (1919-2009). The necklace measures 16 wearable inches long with a center drop of 2 inches. Each of the ancient amethyst stones are bezel set in a thick silver looped frame. The large tear drops range from pale to deep purple. In gorgeous vintage condition. Fully hallmarked on the tight & secure clasp.

A vintage MCM large sterling silver sun brooch or pendant by the Talleres Monasticos Monks who signed their work EMAUS.

This stylized sun measures 4 1/4" high and 4 1/4" across. Has a large bale so can be worn on a thick chain or neck ring collar. Also has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. There is a little pitting on the pin part.

Modernist handmade large-scale necklace by WIGGERS, DENMARK, c.1960's. The applied top layer of modernist design is handmade silver and tiger eye and are atop two squares of silver-plate. The hand made heavy gauge silver chain is 30" long. The top plaque measures 1 1/2" square and the lower plaque measures 1 3/4" by 1 12/". When worn, the necklace is 18 1/2" long. Mimicking the behavior of alexandrites by changing hue under different light conditions, these stones are often referred to as alexandrites themselves but they are in fact synthetic corundum...

This is a wonderful brooch in sterling measuring 1 1/2 x 1 1/4" x 1/8". Characteristic of Clam pin with dark pearl in the middle. It has been said George W. Shiebler naturalistic motifs such as insects, animals, leaves and flowers. Scarce on the market and very collectible.

This graceful sterling silver ring is formed as a stylized snake with an impressed band starting at the head and tapering to the tail. The impressed area is nicely oxidized and decorated with contrasting circular elements, one of which serves as the snake's eye. The patina is soft and is nicely enhanced by the oxidation. The inside of the ring bears the partial marks for sterling, Mexico and its maker, the preeminent Taxco workshop of Los Ballesteros. The ring is sized to a 7 scant...

This Antonio Pineda bracelet is a rare and stunning piece, with thick curved arcs studded with garnet beads. Absolutely gorgeous, this sleek and modernist design measures a closed, wearable length of 7 1/8", with a width of 7/8". Garnets have vivid hues and the light plays off them beautifully. Tongue in groove clasp is perfect and tight. Weight is 96.5 grams. Signed and hallmarked with the Antonio Taxco crown, Hecho en Mexico JVL and the eagle assay 208. Collector quality.

Hand made silver set of necklace and bracelet,c.1950's. Unsigned with soldered links, the necklace measures 14 3/4" long and the bracelet, 8". The top of this sterling silver modernist ring appears to be made of hand-cast drip-like elements that are incised and polished. It is attached to the flattened band on a short pedestal so that the top rises about 3/16 of an inch about the band. The inside of the band is marked Handmade Sterling and bears the impressed mark of G:son Liedholm, which may indicate Magnus Liedholm, a Swedish maker. The ring is sized at 7 1/4. Weight: 9.6 grams

Generously long and imposing in its presence, this early Mexican Deco silver, copper and stone necklace with cascabeles is a great example of the way ancient Mesoamerican artifacts found their way into jewelry created during the country's 20th c. Silver Renaissance. Statuettes, clay "masks", beads of stone and silver, carved pieces of bone were unearthed on a daily basis in Mexico's countryside either by accident as people worked the land or as a result of deliberate "digging" to find them...

A large cabochon of Baltic amber with a deep, nicely distributed color is mounted within a sterling floral surround; the mounting has a closed back. The amber exhibits hardly any wear. The back has a working original rollover clasp as well as the maker’s mark of Niels Erik From of Denmark. The pin measures about 1 5/8 inches across.
