This lovely pin is composed of lacy, intricate sterling filigree work surrounding an oval-shaped piece of carnelian. One delicate filigree band is gilded and the other is highly oxidized for contrast. There is a gilded rollover clasp of good quality, probably added later to replace a C-clasp but contemporary to the period of 1950s-1960s. The stone shows no wear or scratching. The back exhibits the words “Italy” and “sterling.” The pin measures 1 ¾ inches long by 1 ½ inches wide.

Being offered is a circa 1953 exceedingly rare jewelry set by Enrique Ledesma of Taxco, Mexico. Consisting of a necklace, cuff links, tie clip, cuff bracelet & earrings made primarily of shell, with applied silver and brass biomorphic motifs. Dimensions: necklace 15 1/2 inches long and 'plaque' 3 3/4 inches long by 1 1/2 inches wide; lever-back earrings 2 1/2 inches high by 1/2 inch wide; cuff 1 1/2 inches wide. A dramatic, well-made sterling silver necklace of beveled links suspending a three-tiered pendant. The pendant is composed of three overlapping linked pieces of graduated size formed as rounded vertical elements with flattened tops and teardrop-shaped flattened ends. The entire piece is linked with securely soldered rings; the hook closure is hand worked. The necklace is not marked; it tests definitively for sterling silver...

These oval cuff links display a well known Mexican relic character (see pictures). They are very well crafted with a copper eye and azurmalachite on obsidian. They measure 1" x 5/8" x 1/8". They are in fine condition. The toggles are marked ALPACA (but the faces are silver).

Ca 1960 Here is a wonderful 3-dimensional bracelet reminiscent of Jensen USA pieces. Marked Jewel Art Sterling, it measures 6-1/2" x 3/4 and retains its original patina.

A wonderfully crafted hand wrought sterling silver necklace depicting a nude woman wrapped around a large druzy stone with two pearls. You can see her from the back on the underside of the pendant.

Pendant measures 3" long including the bale and 2" across. The chain measures 21" around and is held together by small hand wrought connectors. Hook closure holds securely. Marked Sterling and signed with what looks like S. Curran.

This bracelet is a signed Hector Aguilar X chased jewel. The height is .75in. tall and there are 4 bezel set amethyst stones. There is a 2.5in. diameter and it fits more like a bangle but it is hinged. The silver is thick at 60 grams heavy. The amethyst ranges in colors and swirls of colors. This is a published design in Silver Masters by Penny Morrill. This is a very rare bracelet you never see and is a perfect buy for collectors.
