Lovely vintage sterling silver brooch set with a cluster of eight Mikimoto-quality pearls. The pearls range from 6.0 to 7.5mm. They have very white body color with silvery overtones. The nacre is thick and very lustrous. Mikimoto supplied other jewelers with pearls and it is most likely that these are by Mikimoto. The openwork sterling silver setting in a stylized floral form is typical of the 1950s and the clasp is identical to those used by Mikimoto during the period...

RARE and BEST Salvador Teran necklace I've ever seen and possibly one of a kind. Made in Mexico, c.1952, it is a LARGE pendant of a woman praying wearing a shawl and skirt measuring 2 3/4" long by 1 1/4" wide. She has red arms and a black face, but not sure what those materials are. The linked neckring locks perfectly in place and measures approx. 15 1/4" around. It is signed "SALVADOR STERLING MEXICO 510 (bellmark)36". Can also be worn as a brooch. The modernist design is a true work of art...

Lovely bar pin with two green tourmalines set in a sterling bar pin. It measures 2" long and has a "c" clasp. The signature looks like "VAV 935 or 925". It is quite lovely.....$7 USA insured shipping.
Classic Los Ballesteros Mexican silver and mottled agate bracelet, this is an iteration of the popular "dimpled dot" design thanks to the oval links separating the bezel-set stones. One of the oldest Mexican workshops, the Los Ballesteros taller was first founded in Iguala in 1937 yet by 1941 it was moved to Taxco...
A green and brown marbled agate square is decorated with a sterling modified pinwheel design. The handmade bale is sturdy. The entire plaque is mounted on a sterling backing marked 925. There is also a maker’s mark that looks like MAD. The pendant is suspended in the photos from a 26-inch-long Mexican sterling chain ($35 in addition to the pendant, J1341). The pendant measures 1 5/8 inches square.

Circa mid-century, this Salvador Teran bracelet features a large amethyst cabochon set within a sterling silver ribbon and bow design. At least - that is my interpretation. I believe it to be a very rare piece and have not seen this design before. Closed, wearable length is 6 3/8"...
Heavy, early and wrought out of fine, .980 silver this Mexican Deco cuff bracelet is one of William Spratling's "archaelogically-inspired" creations of the renowned maestro's First Design Period. Thick silver sheet is carefully shaped and deeply hand-chased here with the gravitas of the labyrinthine geometric motifs further enhancing the piece's physical heft. This is a bracelet that makes itself known to the wearer not only with its weight but also with the confident, almost possessive way it w...

A vintage modernist sterling silver cuff bracelet by Danish silversmith, Palle Bisgaard in a tiered curved shape. His torque necklace, part of this same line is included in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This is the widest version of this cuff, with an extra tier at the bottom edge.
Measures about 5 1/2" around with an opening of 1" and 3/4" at the widest. There does not appear to be much give so it is better for an average to slender wrist.

Classic in its elegance and the delicate filigree work that embellishes it, this vintage silver and sodalite pendant necklace dates in the first decades of the 20th c. and I believe it is an Italian piece. Very similar to work that came out of the Peruzzi and Coppini workshops of Florence, the necklace is anonymous yet exhibits very high levels of craftsmanship and its finishing is impeccable. I love the stations formed by short lengths of chain, the lace-like quality of the filigree beads and ...
