One of the best Sigi Pineda's for a collection is this outstanding bracelet of silver brushed "pearls" and a concave black niello background that goes half the way around. Sigi's silver brushed pearl look was achieved by making a cutting of a tight spiral onto the bead balls. It is evident in the close up photography. From a look to your arm when worn it gives a satin finish effect. The quality of the thickness of the silver and bead work shows off the heft of 80 grams...

An iconic early bracelet by the important Fred Davis with a shield and round Amethyst cabochon design. Measures 7" long by 1 1/8" wide and weighs 66.7 grams. Hallmarked Silver, FD, Made in Mexico. Hook closure. Stones have the typical inclusions but no damage noted. A gorgeous bracelet.

This sterling silver ring is a size 7 1/2". It has a nice mod design with its intersecting, bi level sodalite, bezel-set stones. It is marked JR? 925 and STERLING. The band is marked with the Eagle Assay mark for Taxco Mexico. It is in great condition and has a good heft.

Circa 1930's-early 40's, this necklace is a Fred Davis design, hallmarked simply "Silver Mexico".

It's a gorgeous piece, with large amethyst cabochons and carved malachite stones. It lays perfectly on the neck, measuring a closed, wearable length of 16 1/2". Width is 1 1/16". Amethysts measure 27mm x 20mm, with a depth of 11mm.

Beautiful dramatic handmade modernist necklace composed of sterling elements connected with brass or bronze links, with a very large bezel set onyx stone at the center. This biomorphic pin c. 1950’s is made of mixed metals: sterling silver and copper, like many of Popowski’s pieces. It has an inlay of crushed stone (azurmalachite). The pin has the top layer (described above), sitting on a layer (of just over 1/8”) of obsidian backed by a layer of sterling. This mid-century bracelet was produced by RTA. I've had a few RTA pieces over the years, all based on Antonio Pineda designs, all of exceptional quality and craftsmanship. This design is known as "birdcage", and it is absolutely stunning. It has everything going for it. Large and quite substantial, it weighs 126.5 grams. Beautiful red wood jacket with richly appliqued figures, Mexico, c.1940's. There are large man and woman figures on back and donkey, cactus, guitar, ceramics, etc on front and sleeves. There are two front pockets and the edges have sewn wool stitching all around. Interesting collar design(see photo). Small size - approx. size 4. A vintage Mexican silver (probably sterling or better) bracelet by Fred Davis in his classic floral link design. Has twelve turquoise cabochons and wide silver links on the top and bottom.

This sterling vermeil clown brooch is 1 1/2" square. It is hallmark sterling only.

An irregular shaped piece of amber is mounted in a handmade bezel. The mounting is decorated with hand-applied silver biomorphic protrusions. The bailbears the Krakow mark for .916 silver, with an additional mark indicating added metal, although all of the metal tests as silver. The pendant measures 2 ½ inches long, including the bail and jump ring, and 1 3/8 inches wide.
