This sturdy cuff bracelet features a ribbed design that runs horizontally along the entire piece. It has kept its shape and has a soft, warm patina from age. A few very minor scratches, hardly noticeable without magnification. The inside is marked sterling; there is no maker’s mark. While it has a Mexican feel, it is probably American-made. The cuff has a graduated width, measuring 1 3/8 inches at its widest area; the inside circumference measures 6 5/6 inches. Weight: 38.9 grams

This graceful sterling silver ring is formed as a stylized snake with an impressed band starting at the head and tapering to the tail. The impressed area is nicely oxidized and decorated with contrasting circular elements, one of which serves as the snake's eye. The patina is soft and is nicely enhanced by the oxidation. Hand made silver and abalone pendant necklace, c.1920. Pendant measures 1 7/8" long by 3/4" wide and is backed in silver. Hand made silver chain has two decorative pieces. The pendant is composed of hollow construction, with a sharply molded flower border and hammered center. It is probably Danish, made in the 1940s-1950s, and is marked 800 on the back to indicate silver content. There is a tiny hole in one of the flower centers, as shown in the photos. The pendant measures 2 inches long, not including the bale, and 1 ½ inches wide. Weight: 9.1 grams

This distinctive ring features an organic design with an asymmetrical domed form. It is textured with wavy narrow ridges similar to seaweed. The inner band bears the mark of Spanish jewelry designer Joachim S’Paliu as well as the mark for sterling silver and dates 1960s-1970s. There is a curious crack on one side of the ring that extends up inside the top (see pictures 4 and 5). It doesn't appear to be damage or affect the stability of the ring...

These quirky figural sterling silver pins and earrings are formed as separate head. While the faces are similar in their prominent features, one head wears a tall, pointed headdress, while the other wears a turban-like headpiece. The pins show marks on the surface from being hammered into the mold; they are finished with applied backs. Each earring is formed to match the face of one of the pins...

Five large cabochons with pink banding are set in sterling silver frames that are deeply oxidized and embossed with a ridged design. They are linked by oblong rings that are similarly decorated. The highly polished stones are securely prong set and show no scratches or other signs of wear; they may be rhodochrosites, which were popular in the 1950s. The fold-over clasp is very secure and in good working order. The bracelet is unmarked, but tests definitively for sterling...

Composed of three outwardly curved hinged panels embossed with scenes of Mexican country life. It is secured by a tongue-and-groove clasp and a security chain. The back of the clasp bears the circular mark of CJB; the maker’s name of Diaz Santoyo is impressed on the tongue in block letters (there is no image of this part of the mark). It is also marked 925 for sterling silver. The bracelet measures 1 3/8 inches wide and has an internal circumference of 7 ¼ inches. Weight: 44 grams
