A heavy Mexican sterling silver necklace. This vintage 14-1/4" long Mexican .925 silver choker necklace is from the 1970s. This necklace consists of triple segmented trapezoidal 5/8" wide sections with wire loop links. It has a box clasp and it is stamped STERLING HECHO EN MEXICO DF 925 with an H maker's mark. It weighs an impressive 80.1 grams, and it is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

A cast rectangular top decorated with what look like applied and incised stylized scrollwork; the surface is textured and is unevenly oxidized. The sides exhibit clamp-like elements and the band shoulders bear engraved geometric designs. The band is flattened, and on the inside is marked with the German crown and moon, 800, and what looks like a worn maker’s mark. The style looks like transitional art deco/art modern; the ring is dated conservatively. It is sized at a 7. Weight: 5.9 grams

The story of this Mexican Deco silver and turquoise hinged bangle is an interesting one. When it came to me, it had a rather hastily applied gold plating that looked both out of place and, should I say?, garish. I cannot understand why anybody would do such a thing yet many a time, in discussions with older bench jewelers, I have been told that a few decades ago this was indeed a trend of sorts...

This Bracelet is a design most recognized by Fred Davis. Hallmarked Mexico Silver and being 7.25in. long and 1.5in. tall makes this bracelet quite a statement maker. The bezels are very well made and there are no dents or chips to the stones or silver. Even though it has an open air design it still weighs 65 grams heavy. Very soft and silky to the touch it is a pleasure to wear.

An Edwardian gilt silver ("vermeil") locket enhanced with bright turquoise blue guilloche enamel. The starburst design of the champleve is enhanced with gilt accents in the enamel. The locket retains the original insert frames on both sides...

Composed of four rectangular textured panels that are curved to fit comfortably around the wrist. This bracelet features an oxidized, textured surface with an unfinished look often associated with hand-crafted jewelry and at times, brutalist design. The pins holding the panels together are slightly bent, but are secure and contribute to its handmade look. The fold-over clasp is secure, and there is a safety chain, probably added later...

Handmade sterling and ebony necklace on liquid silver chain by Betty Cooke. Very interesting scoop design flanked by two different size slices of ebony. Scoop is of good weight, oxydized in the center, and measures 2" by 1" by 3/4" deep. The liquid silver chain is of various lengths and the necklace measures 25" around and the fixed horizontal scoop middle section measures 3". Bold high-set modernist crystal ring by Swedish designer Gison Liedholm. The setting makes quite a statement, soaring a full 3/4" above the band. Made in the middle of the 20th Century. The floral and foliate motifs are set against a dramatically oxidized background visible through the openings in the cut-work and they are enhanced with hand-etched details...

A vintage hand crafted 900 silver necklace and matching bracelet from Trabzon, Turkey with a mesh woven design. Both pieces have central etched floral designs on the clasps which were made to be worn at the front.

The necklace measures 15 1/2" long and 5/8" wide. Has a secure tongue slide in clasp. Curved so lays nicely at the collar bone. Marked 900 for the silver content...
