This elegant link bracelet has the look and feel of a much more expensive piece, but is made of silver gilt and set with faceted pieces of glass meant to imitate amandine garnets. This is a Los Castillo design made by Hilario Lopez who worked for several Tallers through his career(of which one was Margot de Taxco) and he was an accomplished Maestro. The construction is open backed repousse but it is framed in heavy silver making a respectable 80 grams heavy. There is lots of bead work executed on this design and it is in impeccable condition. If you could find an original Los Castillo of this rare design it would cost at least twice what this one costs...
Formed as hollow cast discs, embossed and chased with elaborate floral designs, and bezel-set with carnelian beads – one of which shows a partial hole to one side. The earrings are secured with working clip backs; the maker’s impressed mark looks like Zuoco or Zocco. The earrings measure 1 ¼ inches in diameter.
Rare sterling cuff by modernist Caroline Gleick Rosene, San Francisco, c.1951. It is very difficult to find this silversmith's work. Signed "ROSENE HAND MADE STERLING" and is in excellent condition except for a missing small silver ring that is easily replaceable. Made of heavy gauge silver, it is 1 1/4" wide and is 7 1/2" inside circumference. Graziella Laffi signed on both the necklace and bracelet. The enamel is in perfect condition as well as the silver. The length is 7 inches and the necklace has a wearable length of 16.5 inches. 1.25in. for the height for both the necklace and bracelet. When I see these there seems to be some that looks very much the same but there is always a change with a fish or bird in different places and size. For all Laffi collectors, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!
This Norwegian necklace is composed of gilded sterling silver panels decorated with guilloche work under ivory-colored enamel and edged with black enamel and embossed flowers along the rim. The necklace clasp is in good working order, and bears the mark of Ivar T. Holth, of Oslo. The box part of the clasp is marked 925 for sterling; the tongue is marked for .830 silver. The enamel is intact, showing no losses or cracks. The necklace measures 15 inches long by 7/8 inch wide. Weight: 66.6 grams

The connector loop is marked 12K GF and has the marker's mark for Binder Bothers: BB in interlocking circles. This bracelet is circa 1950 and in excellent condition.

A pair of Athena carved lava cameo sterling silver cufflinks from the 1940s or 1950s. This pair measures 3/4 x 3/4" across the finely carved lava rock cameos depicting Athena (or Minverva). This sterling silver necklace of faces and fleur-de-lys has a European feel and is designed in the Renaissance Revival style most associated with Peruzzi. It does not bear a maker’s mark, but the spring-ring clasp is marked as sterling, and the various elements test definitively for silver. There is a roughness to the casting, but the lobed beads in between are nicely detailed. It has a twisted multi-link chain. The necklace measures a little over 16 inches long. Weight: 16.3 grams
