A Valentin Vidaurreta design made in Hector Aguilar's taller. Hallmarked Altamirano as Hector Aguilar gave him permission to hallmark this design. A rich and tasteful size with the center link 1.25in. tall. The velvet has been cleaned and is in perfect condition. I will give a custom made velvet for what ever length that you prefer. The weight is 51 grams heavy and there are no dents or repairs. An absolute dream to wear with anything, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Vintage bird parrot avian Mexican sterling silver collectors, look at this engraved feather parrot perched in circle pin brooch marked: Hecho en Mexico 0925 around "JV" a listed silversmith. 'He' is has a 8X13mm green jade/onyx stone belly w an engraved feather riveted through that! Handsome and in perfect shape of 1 X 1 3/8" in size as seen in one book or another.

Striking and unusual this vintage sterling silver and amethyst ring was designed and signed circa 1940's by Taxco, Mexico & American artist William Spratling(1900-67). Ring is accented with two gold or copper dots on either side. Ring is a size 7. The beautiful amethyst stone is free of nicks, chips or cracks. The silver has no dents or dings. A pair of hammered sterling silver buckles by Edward H. Breese, who worked in Chicago from 1921-1940.

Measure 2" across and 1 3/4" high. Each one is marked on the back with the hallmark of EHB in a triangle and style number 126. They are also marked Sterling and Hand Wrought.

They are made from thick sterling and have a dark patina. Would make wonderful brooches.

Rare example from a talented Silversmith.

An early Skonvirke 826 silver brooch with a moth motif. Signed on the back with what looks like stylized HKC in a shield and 826 S for the silver standard. Most probably from Denmark. 826 was the silver standard used in Denmark at the time.

Measures 1" in diameter. Has an older 'C' clasp which holds securely. May have had a repair to the hinge at some point.

Fine condition, warm patina. Wonderfully crafted. Classic Arts and Crafts design.

Detailed and deeply hand carved in heavy 980 silver this early brooch designed by Spratling features the feathered serpent Quetzalcoatl of pre- Columbian myth. In beautiful condition & weighing 53 grams the pin measures 2 1/4" across. Pictured on spratlingsilver.com where author Phyllis Goddard explains that this pin design was included in a 1937 Brooklyn Museum of Art exhibit of Spratling's work. Spratling designs are included in the permanent collections of LACMA and MFA Boston.
