Mid-century silver and amethyst ring by Mexican Master silversmith Antonio Pineda. One of his very recognizable designs, perhaps you are fortunate and have the necklace, bracelet or earrings that match this ring. It is a size 5 1/2 - 6, weighs 11 grams, and is in fine original condition. There are no chips or cracks to the amethysts. There are inclusions under the surface of the stones as typical of amethyst. This ornate Peruzzi sterling silver necklace dates from the 1950s and features a central eagle drop flanked by grotesque masks. They are suspended from a bead chain. Wonderfully designed hand made necklace by MAYA, Mexico, c.1950's after a Hubert Harmon design. Maya frequently copied Harmon designs. Looks just like silver with a great patina, but probably made of silver plate because there are no Mexican silver marks. The locking mechanism is separated from the main part by black velvet ribbon. Of large scale, the largest irregular square measures 2" wide by 1 3/4" high and the necklace measures 15 1/2" around...

RARE and BEST Salvador Teran necklace I've ever seen and possibly one of a kind. Made in Mexico, c.1952, it is a LARGE pendant of a woman praying wearing a shawl and skirt measuring 2 3/4" long by 1 1/4" wide. She has red arms and a black face, but not sure what those materials are. The linked neckring locks perfectly in place and measures approx. 15 1/4" around. It is signed "SALVADOR STERLING MEXICO 510 (bellmark)36". Can also be worn as a brooch. The modernist design is a true work of art...

We have a Mexican Silver Clamper in the Lotus design made by Gerardo Lopez who is known for fantastic repousse jewels. Properly hallmarked as shown and being 2.75 in. tall with a hefty weight. No damage to the spring or silver. There is glare and patina to be observed in these pictures. A beautiful thing which works perfectly with the Lotus necklace I also just listed. 2310

The William Spratling croissant has a 17in. wearable length with a drop from the ring to the center is approximately 2.5 in. as it rises in height in the center. The length of the drop is 4in. The silver is thick with a weight of 68 grams. This design shows depth through the folding and wrapping of the silver in a croissant fashion. At the center fold it is 1.5 inches tall...

This striking design was created by Taxco, Mexico modernist Antonio Pineda in the 1950's. 20 brilliant tigers eye stones are set into 970 sterling frames. Silver rods tipped with beautifully matched pearls & 2 with silver are interspersed. The central element measures 3 3/4" across & 2 3/4" long at the center. The silver tipped velvet cord measures 29" long. Weighing 70 grams the necklace is in exquisite condition.

This sizable, hand-constructed leaf pin is nicely decorated with applied berries and graceful stems. The secure rollover clasp is original to the piece, which dates around 1950-1960. The pin is unmarked, but it tests definitively for sterling silver, and has Scandinavian influences in its design. It measures 3 3/8 inches long by 1 3/8 inches wide. Weight: 17.7 grams
