A highly decorative piece in gilded sterling silver designed with a graceful movement, this starfish pin has a rich, textured look. It features yellow-green guilloche enamel with raised graduated disks running down each arm enameled in white. The entire piece is jag edged, and has a convex shape. My second belt buckle for the day, this is a completely different piece from the Los Castillo example I already presented. Hand-wrought in sterling silver it is big, bold and absolutely beautiful. Inspired by the world that surrounds us, it is just one of those treasures that defy my photographic skills and I am afraid I failed to impart the silky sculpturality of its heart-shaped floral motifs...

What a wonderful Rafael Dominguez brooch this is. It is 2 inches long and 1.25 wide. The weight is 8.3 grams. The silver is thick and hand carved. I wore this as a closure for a scarf and it was stunning. Collector quality and MORE.

Innovative design by Chicago "brutalist" artist Richard Bitterman, circa 1970s. Made of steel and brass industrial scrap metal. Large and heavy cocktail ring in silver plate, with a large rose quartz cabochon. The top of the ring stands .75" above the thick shank. Maked "J Hull." Currently a size 8, but fully adjustable. In good condition with wear and loss to the silver plating. The rose quartz stone has natural inclusions.

A Victorian engraved silver dome pin brooch with a purple glass stone. This late 19th century 1-5/8 x 1-1/8" pin features a bezel-set purple glass stone and it has ornate hand-engraving. It is unsigned but it tests as high grade silver and it is most likely Scandinavian. It has the original c-clasp, it weighs 4.4 grams and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a bit of expected wear to the soft glass stone...

A great looking vintage retro period gold-washed sterling silver necklace signed by Coro c1940s. This necklace consists of the 1-3/4" across heart-shaped pendant with a raised centre flower, with blue claw-set prystal or clear blue lucite facetted "stone" and the matching 16-1/8" link chain with loop and tab catch. An unusual Taxco Mexican sterling silver pendant and chain, with a central Pre Columbian carved green frog by the noted female jeweler, Bernice Goodspeed.

The pendant measures 1 1/2" long and 1 1/8" across. The very detailed chain measures about 15 1/2" long. Hook closure. Marked on the back Sterling Taxco around the stylized 'B' for the artisan. Also marked with what looks like Eagle #28.

A sterling silver heart shape photo locket on a sterling link chain c1930s. The 1-1/8" across locket is hand engraved on the front and a lined design on the back, and it is stamped STERLING. The 19" long chain has a spring-ring clasp and it is stamped 925 for sterling (chain appears to be more recent than the locket)...

A vintage sterling silver necklace or collar by American Modernist jeweler, Ronald Hayes Pearson. Made up of three connected graduated neck rings with hammered texture. They are curved so lay nicely on the collar bone. Connected on each side by a small ring.

Measures about 12" around the inside of the smallest one with an opening of 1 1/2". Can be adjusted. Can be stretched open a little to put on.

This late 19th century sterling silver bar pin features suspended medallions of classical profiles and other similar elements, exemplifying the iconic design of George W. Shiebler of New York. This piece was part of Shiebler's Etruscan or Homeric line. It has a secure modified C-clasp on the back as well as the maker’s mark of a winged S, and a design number of 590. It is also marked sterling. The pin measures 3 inches wide by a little over 1 1/2 inches at its longest drop. Weight: 20.9 grams
