These earrings are composed of irregularly shaped, concave panels that feature applied abstract figures with outstretched arms. The background is highly oxidized, as are the tops attached to the screw backs. The oxidation is nicely distributed and shows very little wear. The backs of the tops have a mark of Plata/Taxco, as well as partial unidentifiable marks. The earrings measure 1 ¼ inches long by about ¾ inch wide. Weight: 11.1 grams total

Southwest modernist(in the style of H. Fred Skaggs and Frank Patania) amber and sterling ring and earrings set signed, made in Arizona, c.1960's. The large ring has 4 pieces of amber and is size 8 1/4. The front of the ring measures 1 1/2" long by 7/8" wide. The pierced earrings each have 3 pieces of amber and measure 1" by 1". There are 12 onyx cabochons and all the bezels are well built which certainly indicates a higher quality workmanship. The height is just under one inch. An impressive, wide, handmade cuff bracelet of ethnic design. The textured band features an applied wavy line of silver on either side of three diamond-shaped reserves of an unidentified amber-colored stone that looks to have been crushed and resin-set. Circa 1943-1948, the "Armadillo" design was originally created by Valentin Vidaurreta. It's a very striking and unique piece which immediately commands attention. Rare original vintage Georg Jensen Denmark sterling bracelet no.130 B with lapis cabochon clasp designed by Henning Koppel c. 1950. It measures 8" end to end and is 1' wide. A gorgeous pair of sterling clip back earrings with wire wrapped blue topaz stones by Arizona Modernist H. Fred Skaggs. They measure 1 1/4" by 1 1/8"and weigh 18 grams total. The cabochon blue topaz is slightly darker than the camera captures and these stones are free of chips or cracks. Fine original condition and signed as shown. It has become almost impossible to find a pair of Fred Skaggs earrings with stones for sale. They seem to have all gone into the hands of collectors and not come out....
