When Frederick W. Davis (1880-1961) designed this most unusual necklace he likely chose this ancient hand carved stone from his Pre-Columbian collection. When the artist placed the jade mask in onyx, he may have carved it to replicate the large ear adornments and necklace that priests of Teotihuacan wore...

A fabulous Italian Deco (if not a little earlier even!) silver charm / pendant in the Peruzzi style, this piece is big and opens up to reveal a hidden compartment. Usually referred to as "trunk" charms, baubles like this in the Etruscan style can be seen hanging off bracelets or worn with vintage chains as necklaces. I love the detail and profuse ornamentation of the "sphere" at hand with its row of red coral cabs adding a splash of color to the beautifully aged silver-work...

Out of Enrique Ledesma’s sterling silver and gemstone line, this modernist Mexican hinged bracelet is adorned with two faceted color-change sapphires.
