This magnificent, hand forged piece was designed & signed c.1950's by Taxco, Mexico modernist Antonio Pineda (1919-2009). Weighing 225 grams, the hinged, flexible buckle measures 9" across X 2 3/4" high tapering to 1 3/4" at the terminals. 3 thick silk velvet cords are sewn into place at the ends. The cords are in beautiful condition & overlap to avoid separation when worn. Each cord measures 23" long. Wearable length with the buckle is 31"...

Signed Los Castillo and constructed with thick silver weighing 84 grams. The repousse is beautifully fashioned with flowing curls and beaded sides and a dark natural patina. This clamper bracelet is design 250 with the artist being Margot Van Voorhies before her divorce to Antonio Castillo. The presence is stunning with a height of 2.5 inches. Fits most with an inner diameter of 2 3/8th inches. No dents, strong spring and no repairs. One of the very best from the Spratling era.

This lovely pin has hand-applied calla lilies and leaves on a shaped flat panel, with lovely detail and nicely aged patina. The safety clasp is secure, and the pin is marked sterling on the back. It measures 1 3/4 inches long by nearly 1 inch at its widest part.

Coiled sterling handmade ring by the famous NYC modernist silversmith, Sam Kramer(1913-1964), c.1952. It is signed "STERLING mushroom mark" and is in excellent condition. We have a Mexican Silver Clamper in the Lotus design made by Gerardo Lopez who is known for fantastic repousse jewels. Properly hallmarked as shown and being 2.75 in. tall with a hefty weight. No damage to the spring or silver. There is glare and patina to be observed in these pictures. A beautiful thing which works perfectly with the Lotus necklace I also just listed. 2310

This geometric openwork pin depicting snakelike creatures is distinguished by its design, which draws from ancient Mexican imagery. The pin is sturdily made and has a secure C-clasp. It is unsigned but stamped on the back Taxco 980, which indicates a higher-than-sterling silver content. It likely dates from the 1940s-50s. The metal exhibits a very strong test for sterling silver and exhibits a nice patina from age. The pin measures a little over 2 ¼ inches long by 1 5/8 inches wide...

This sizable, hand-constructed leaf pin is nicely decorated with applied berries and graceful stems. The secure rollover clasp is original to the piece, which dates around 1950-1960. The pin is unmarked, but it tests definitively for sterling silver, and has Scandinavian influences in its design. It measures 3 3/8 inches long by 1 3/8 inches wide. Weight: 17.7 grams
