This mid-century, handmade pendant is decorated with an applied pinwheel motif. The chain is sturdy and has a secure spring-ring clasp; it is original to the piece. The pendant is marked sterling on the back and is nicely oxidized for a dramatic effect. Clasped, the entire necklace measures 13 ½ inches long. Weight: 40.5 grams

The focus of this studio necklace is the central drop of translucent banded agate, suspended by a chain of hand-forged links. The agate is securely mounted in an open-back bezel framed, and the hook closure is also hand-wrought. Each connecting ring is soldered closed, exhibiting a high quality of workmanship. The piece is likely from the 1970s-1980s. The necklace measures 24 inches long; the agate pendant drops by an inch.

This is an early piece by Matilde Poulat, with hallmarks dating 1930's - 40's. Collector quality, with turquoise cabochons and branch coral. Absolutely gorgeous, measures 7" long without the tongue portion of the clasp, 1 1/2" wide. Weight is 67.3 grams. Signed and hallmarked as shown. Stones are all original. In excellent vintage condition.

This lovely pin is by the Norwegian designers, Frank + Regine Juhls. It is convex with a cool mod design. Its diameter is 1 1/2" and it's 1/4" deep. The back is marked JUHLS and 925 S. It is in excellent condition.

A modernist pendant in 830 silver designed by Jorma Laine for Kultateollisuus, Ky of Turku Finland.

This reticulated pendant measures 2 1/4" long and 1" wide. Chain measures 23" long and has a spring clasp that holds securely. Chain may be original, has some marks which are only partially struck which may be 830S. Pendant is marked 830S for the Finnish silver standard, and Finland. Nice condition, minor tarnish.

Circa 1930's-40's, here is an early obsidian moth pin from Matilde Poulat.

This is a superb piece, with hand-wrought repoussé silverwork and seven dangles. Centered with a round obsidian cabochon, the stone is truly beautiful, with a glowing gold sheen throughout.

This bracelet is a seldom seen design from Sigi Pineda. It's a spectacular modernist piece with three faceted stones which graduate in size. At first glance the stones appear to be hematite, but they may well be onyx. Opens at the back nice and wide to easily fit over the wrist. Original safety chain attached. A large sterling silver locket from the Aesthetic Period, the cover decorated with an engraved Japonaiserie scene of a water bird landing among reeds. The bird is surrounded by a fan-shaped reserve. The ends of the locket are nicely enhanced with beading and a fancy border. The interior retains both original frames and glass enclosing either fabric. The back is unadorned. This locket is unmarked, indicating an American origin...

Brilanti opened her shop in Taxco in 1940, and named her shop Plateria Victoria, after her daughter.
