Marked 830 for the silver standard and what looks like conjoined 'AG' or 'GA'. Has a swivel bale.
Pendant measures almost 1 3/4" high with the bale and 1 3/8" at the widest. The silver colored chain measures 23" long and has a spring clasp that closes securely...

A modernist brooch by noted mid century silversmith, Frances Holmes Boothby.
This brooch measures 1 5/8" tall and 1 1/4" across the bottom. Has a textured inlay of multicolored enamel. There is a sterling inlay in the center of the enamel for an interesting contrast. Marked with fhb and Sterling on the back. Has a safety rollover clasp that holds securely.
Has a few minor scratches, some tarnish and one nick to the side that touches both the edge and the side of the bezel...
A vintage sterling silver abstract modernist ring from the shop of Walter Wright, a Los Angeles jeweler. Wright was an associate of Margaret De Patta and sold her work and other modernist jewelry. A five sided central design with three dimensional circles and bars coming off a blackened background. Approximately a size 10. Marked Walter Wright Sterling. Has some tarnish, a few scratches on the back of the band and a little wear to the black. Great example of mid-century modern studio jewelry.

A long sterling silver modernist pendant by Tane, Mexico with the 26" original chain. Tane was known as 'The Tiffany of Mexico.'
This pendant measures 4" long and 2 1/4" at the widest. Marked TANE, Sterling, Mexico and with an 'A' inside a triangle, probably for the silversmith.
The chain has Tane's unusual interlocking clasp which holds securely.
The pendant has some surface scratches, tarnish and shows some wear. Weighs 50gr.

Handcrafted silver necklace in a modern biomorphic design; necklace features a tongue & box closure to attach both pieces. Sigi, cousin of Los Castillo founder, Antonio Castillo, spent years working with Los Castillo, Salvador Teran, Felipe Martinez, and Margot de Taxco before opening his own shop in 1952.

A rare, delicately hammered dress clip by the well known Danish silversmith, Erik Magnussen. After working at Gorham and having his own shops in Chicago and New York, he opened a shop in Hollywood and designed for the stars. Returned to Denmark in 1939. This clip measures 1 3/4" long and 1 3/8" across. Marked with the conjoined EM monogram, Sterling, ERIK M. and Hollywood. Spring in clips still holds. A vintage modernist pair of sterling silver earrings by Antonio Pineda, Taxco with onyx cabochons in the well known 'Comma' design.
Measure 3/4" at the widest and 1 1/4" high. One earring is marked with the Antonio crown and Silver. The other is marked 970, Eagle 17, and Hecho en Mexico. Screw backs hold securely.

Early Mexico City open backed repousse cuff looks so fabulous without being embossed around the background of the roses because it makes the repousse really pop. This is a 1 10/16th in. wide and the diameter is 2.5in. There are no repairs, no dents and no light holes that come from poorly pressed silver. The roses are brisk and superbly dimensional. An excellent example and fabulous on.

Beautifully worked and quite generous in size this late Victorian / Edwardian locket pendant is, I am assuming, a US-made piece since it is not hallmarked at all. Elegantly monogrammed on the back, it opens to reveal a glass-protected case for the photo of your loved one. In the front, the oval reserve holds a highly detailed representation of Spring with three cupids, very much in the spirit of Franz Zatzka's allegorical painting, while the perimeter is further decorated with impressed scrolls ...
