Man w/guitar silver pin by Fred Davis, Mexico, c.1930. Measures 2 3/8" high by 1 5/8" wide and is signed "MADE IN MEXICO FD SILVER". Closes with early "C" clasp. Excellent condition except for a pinpoint dent at the middle of the face. Can be repaired by adding silver to that area but please check with your jeweler. Hard to find and wonderful.....$20 for insured shipping.

This is a Los Castillo design made by Hilario Lopez who worked for several Tallers through his career(of which one was Margot de Taxco) and he was an accomplished Maestro. The construction is open backed repousse but it is framed in heavy silver making a respectable 80 grams heavy. There is lots of bead work executed on this design and it is in impeccable condition. If you could find an original Los Castillo of this rare design it would cost at least twice what this one costs...

Antonio Pineda Smokey quartz love knot is shown in the book Silver Seduction by Gobi Stomberg. The mounting is made with thick silver and the faceted stone is large at 1in. tall and .75in. across. The facets are beautifully cut and the stone glows with gold sparks. The pictures in no way capture the stones fire. The pendant weighs a total of 45 grams. This is an old Mexico City folk necklace that is simply stunning. Approximately 17in. wearable length. The pectoral is 4.5 in. across and 2in. tall at the center. There is no damage and the silver is greater than 925 silver and has a beautiful color. The stone has a beautiful scalloped bezel with the stone in perfect condition. The repousse is puffy and has no splits and is quite thick with a weight of 65 grams. The links are smaller at 1in. long and the center is .25in...

Vintage pearl and sterling silver bracelet designed and signed circa 1950's by Taxco, Mexico modernist artist Antonio Pineda. Bracelet measures 6 1/4" long X 5/8" wide. Hallmarked with Antonio crown, Taxco, 970 and eagle. The design features 11 pearls each set within a round oxidized silver cup. Each cup framed by a thick silver square. Margot van Voorhies was married to Antonio Castillo and they opened Los Castillo where Margot became well known for her designs. After a divorce she opened her own taller Margot de Taxco. This is design number 5213 the hearts. You see this design with glass or amethyst centers but this one is a rare sterling dome. The length is 15 inches and is 1 1/8th inches tall. The links are without damage and is properly hallmarked as shown. A treasure of collector quality, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE.

This bracelet is a signed Hector Aguilar X chased jewel. The height is .75in. tall and there are 4 bezel set amethyst stones. There is a 2.5in. diameter and it fits more like a bangle but it is hinged. The silver is thick at 60 grams heavy. The amethyst ranges in colors and swirls of colors. This is a published design in Silver Masters by Penny Morrill. This is a very rare bracelet you never see and is a perfect buy for collectors.

A wonderfully crafted sterling silver necklace and bracelet by noted Arts and Crafts metalsmith, Clemens Friedell. Made of oval links with raised roses.

The bracelet is composed of three links. It is marked Clemens Friedell Pasadena Sterling on the back side of the hook clasp. It measures 7" long and 1 1/2" at the widest. Better for a smaller wrist. The hook clasp holds securely. There is a hammer rub or scrape on the outside of the hook.
