Spratling designed this impressive pendant in the 1940's. Measuring 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" the piece is beautifully detailed with 4 beveled cut amethyst stones & a center cab set into thick silver frames. The sterling chain in the style of Spratling measures 20" long. Together the cross and chain weigh 87 grams. The piece is in beautiful vintage condition. Hector Aguilar and his old maguey bracelet is a must for every collector. At 1.25in. tall and 95 grams of weight the design has a commanding presence. It is thick and the higher content of silver makes it's rounded edges feel silky smooth. Appropriately hallmarked as shown with eagle and a pin closure. The length is 7in. wearable. No repairs or damage of any kind.

Ledesma is a noted Maestro in Penny Morrill's books. This is a rarely seen all silver Art Nouveau swirl weighing 61 grams heavy. It is properly hallmarked as shown and in 2 places. The repousse is without dents and is flowing in design. At it's widest it is 7/8th's of an inch and is 16.5in. long. The piece is jaw dropping on and you can turn the swirl inside or outside to wear. One pix shows it with the outside swirl. This one deserves our attention, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Rafael Melendez worked for Spratling when he first opened his taller de las Delicias. Melendez left to open his own Taller in 1939. This is one of his earliest marks that was done in 980 silver. Some of the Silver repousse links have Matl like glyphs. The silver sets up the onyx stones in the cross giving it great depth and dimension. This Trifari sterling Alfred Philippe Jelly belly pig pin is gold plated sterling, with rhinestones and lucite. It is hallmarked Trifari with crown, sterling, pat. pend. This pin was designed by Alfred Philippe in 1943. It is 2 1/8" by 1 1/2".Lucite jelly bellies were copied from figurals originally done in gold and rock crystal.

Rare handmade large scale sterling cuff by the famous NYC modernist, Paul Lobel(1899-1983), c.1945. Original design combining flat silver outlined in decorative thick silver wire. It is signed "LOBEL STERLING" and is in excellent condition. Of good size, it measures 1 1/2" wide and the inside circumference is 6 1/2" and will fit a medium wrist.
