Fabulous sterling tufa cast bolo by Mission/Hopi Preston Monongye ( 1927-87 ). The central piece features a mythical being holding a staff and carrying what appears to be an abstract bundle that is comprised of ebony, turquoise and bone. The central piece measures 3 1/2" long and 1 1/2" wide at the top and narrows to 1" at the bottom. The tips are 2 1/4" long. The bolo is hallmarked on the reverse with the peyote bird mark. Hallmarks date this very rare Antonio Pineda necklace 1948-1953. I've not seen this design before.

Composed of twenty panels with a rimmed hubcap design, the links alternate with rounds and indented on the sides so that they fit into each other. Each panel measures 1 3/16" tall, 13/16" wide. Closes with a ribbed J hook and eye.

Signed and hallmarked "Silver by Tono", with the design # YY 223. I believe the silver to be of a higher purity than 925, likely 970 or 980...

Circa 1940-1945, this stunning and iconic belt from Hector Aguilar is known as the "Georgia O'Keefe" belt. A photo of O'Keefe wearing this belt is shown on page 108 of "Silver Masters of Mexico". Page 107 , bookplate III-24, shows this belt as "Large X's with One Button Belt".

There are different versions of this belt. This one is the largest, with a width of a full 2" for the leather, 2 3/8" at the buckle. Four "X's" measure 3 1/2" wide, 2 1/4" tall...

Circa mid-century, these are fabulous earrings from Margot de Taxco.

These koi fish with teardrop amethyst dangles measure 1 3/4" tall, and they are stunning. The detailing is amazing. Amethysts match perfectly in color, and screw backs work perfectly.

Signed and hallmarked "Margot de Taxco 5207" on one, "Sterling Made in Mexico" on the other. No eagle assay.

Weight is 10 grams.

In excellent vintage condition, collector quality.

A modernist sterling silver ring by noted mid century jeweler, Sam Kramer, with an erotic theme. Depicts two hands holding breasts.

Measures about a 5 1/2. Face of ring measures 7/8" long and 1/2" across. Marked with Sam Kramer's mushroom mark and sterling. Has some minor surface scratches, some wear to the surface and tarnish. Heavy sterling.

Great MCM design. Haven't seen this design before. Sam Kramer's designs are highly collectible and rare.

Bold and striking long sterling earrings designed by Karl Gustav Hansen for Hans Hansen of Denmark. These earrings are from the "Future" line of jewelry manufactured by Hans Hansen between 1932 and 1948. They hang 2 5/8" long, are 3/4" wide at the bottoms and are screw backs. The backs could easily be changed to posts for pierced ears.Weighing 11 grams total, they are in fine original condition and signed as shown. A fabulous Modernist design that look great on the ear.

Circa mid-century, this Antonio Pineda bracelet is a rare and spectacular piece.

The unique modernist design resembles a bicycle chain, with fifteen obsidian cylinders/bars within eight panels. Closure is a pin on a chain. The obsidian has a glittery golden sheen, absolutely gorgeous.

Bracelet has a closed, wearable length of 6 3/4" and a width of 1".

Composed of ten thick circle links, this is a truly remarkable piece. It feels as good on the wrist as it looks, heavy and luxurious, fluid and flexible. Closure is a tight and secure tongue in box. Safety chain is original to the piece.

Measures a closed, wearable length of 7 1/4", with a width of 3/4". Thickness/depth is just over 1/4.

A substantial sterling silver pendant and chain by the noted Peruvian silversmith, Graziella Laffi.

Signed G. Laffi Peru and 925. Depicts the Inca God Virococha wearing his sun crown and holding his thunderbolts.

Pendant measures 3 1/2" long and 1 7/8" across including the bale. The original hand wrought chain measures about 24" around.

Has a very secure locking mechanism. Weighs 113 grams. Very nice condition, some very minor tarnish and surface scratches.

This sculpturally stunning cuff was designed by Spratling during the rare(1949-51) period when he signed his work SPRATLING De MEXICO STERLING.
