Handmade sterling and cultured pearls ring, c. 1950's. The modernist silver design has 5 cultured pearls on the top and on the bottom of varied sizes. The ring is size 6 and the front measures 7/8" high by 3/4" wide. Ring is signed "T(in shield) and S(in square box). A wonderful figural fob seal depicting England’s patron St. George defeating the dragon. The design is worked primarily in silver, but the horse’s bridle, the dragon’s dorsal ridge and the saint’s spear and shield are worked in yellow gold. The gold base encloses a flat malachite that was never engraved. Tested and guaranteed sterling silver and 18K gold.

This gorgeous brooch measures 1 3/8" x 1 3/8". It has an overlapping, looped design with a central, prong set emerald. It is made by The W.E. Richards Company (founded in 1902, in Attleboro, MA). Their jewelry is marked WRE or Symmetalic. (Symmetalic belongs to The W.E. Richards Company.) Their jewelry is known to be very well made, using sterling silver with 10K and 14K gold, as well as semi precious stones. This is marked SYMMETALIC STERLING + 14K. It is in excellent condition

A vintage pair of sterling silver screw back earrings by Margot de Taxco, (Margot Van Voorhies Carr), number 5376, with blue confetti enamel. Opposites so frame the face when worn.

Measure 7/8" high and 3/4" across. Marked Made in Mexico Sterling, Margot de Taxco and 5376. Also marked with Eagle #16.

Screw backs hold securely. Very nice condition with some tarnish. Hard to find design.

This 3-piece set is a rare find. It is by Hermann Siersbol, of Copenhagen, Denmark, circa 1950's-1960's. The brooch and earrings display a convex modernist starburst motif: (a spiderweb, foil look), with points and textured silverwork. Offered here as a pair, these beautiful vintage heishi necklaces are made up of slender shell disks, turquoise, silver and glass beads and what I think are most probably shark teeth. They have been with me for a long, long time and I always thought I would combine them into one longer piece yet never gotten around to it. A vintage sterling silver Palm Tree brooch by Frederick Davis. This early version has an unusual 'C' clasp with a locking hinge to hold the pin in place.

Measures 1 3/4" across and 2 1/8" high. Weighs 24 gr. The brooch has a warm patina with a little tarnish. The tip of the pin is slightly curved to prevent you from sticking yourself.

Designed in the pre-Columbian style, this sterling silver bracelet is composed of curved openwork panels connected with small pins. It bears the mark of J.N. These, silver, earrings have a leafy, foliate design. They measure 7/8" x 5/8". They are by Danish silversmith John Lauritzen, (JOHN L), who worked during the 1950s. His pieces seem to be hard to come by. They are marked JOHN L 830S DENMARK. They are in excellent condition.

A dramatic sterling silver cuff bracelet of Precolumbian influence, featuing double birds with long, curling tails. The background is deeply oxidized, with a raised decoration; there are a few small areas of loss to the oxidation on one side. The inside of the cuff exhibits a circular mark of Sterling Taxco enclosing the initials LC, the number 148 and eagle 3. Amazing pendant / brooch by Michigan silversmith John Pagacz, circa 1950s. In sterling silver with three cultured pearls. The two darkened areas in the center are recessed, oxidized to create the patina, and hand detailed with a pattern. The workmanship in Pagacz's work is truly amazing. Unsigned. Unusual ring featuring textured sterling silver holding a large Rhodonite sphere. The natural stone is pink with dramatic black veining. The design has a trippy organic feel. The stone is quite fine, and probably originated in South Africa. The ring itself is probably American, circa 1970s. The table measures 1.25" by 1", giving this ring a very large presence. Size 5.5. An early design by Margot van Voorhies Carr, this necklace features a design of hammered niello hearts framed with thick raised silver edges. The centerpiece measures 3" wide and 2 1/2" on the diagonal. The side hearts alternate with silver beads, and each side finishes with rectangular silver tubes. Closure is a tight and secure tongue in box.

A modernist sterling silver and glass brooch or pendant signed 925, Zilka Hand Made. Measures 4" across and 2 1/2" high. Has a bale so can be worn on a neck ring or chain and a rollover safety clasp to be worn as a brooch. Nice warm patina. Great organic design.

This late 19th-century sterling silver bar pin is formed as four graduated medallions with classical military profiles. It was made by the Frank M. Whiting Co. of North Attleboro, MA, and bears the maker’s mark on the back. The features of the faces are sharply molded and detailed. There is a modified C-clasp on the back. The pin measures 2 1/4 inches long and about 3/4 inch at its widest part.
