A fine and attractive genuine White Shrine of Jerusalem Art Deco 18-1/4" sterling silver necklace with a rock crystal drop. The 1-1/2 x 3/4" drop (including upper portion) features a carved rayed genuine rock crystal claw-set into a Deco style housing. It has an applied WSOJ cross with white enamel and a shepherd's hook and it is stamped STERLING on the back. It weighs 4.7 grams and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

Hallmarks date 1940-1944 on the superb William Spratling bracelet from his first design period. Tested to be 980, or 98% pure silver.

Circa 1950's, this bold, edgy cuff from Bernice Goodspeed is a book-piece design shown on p. 132 of the Morrill/Berk book "Mexican Silver".

It's a hand-wrought piece with an intricate deeply carved design and an oxidized background. This is a fabulous bracelet, and one which is rarely seen.

A Russian 875 silver natural amber double swag or sweater pin. This brooch features a 1" x 3/4" silver-mounted amber pin joined by a second patterned silver pin by three fine link chains with natural polished amber stones. Each pin has a c-clasp, it extends to 7-1/4" between the pins and it hangs 6-1/4" deep...

A very well crafted pair of sterling silver earrings and matching pendant, each with a prong set rose quartz stone. We especially like how the prongs are formed from folding pieces of the main parts. Pendant measures 2 1/2" long and 1 3/4" across. Would look nice on a chain or neck ring. Screw back earrings measure 1 3/8" high and 1 1/8" across. Screw backs are marked T2 and Sterling. They hold securely. Very nice condition, warm patina. Great modernist design.

Composed of a hammered-look, lozenge-shaped panel decorated with applied silver wire and beads, this impressive pin evokes a German arts and crafts influence. The faceted stone is almost clear and tests strongly as quartz/amethyst/citrine; in certain light it looks like a smoky quartz or very light citrine. I love zodiac jewelry and thankfully so did the old Mexican maestros! Yet over the years I have noticed that no matter what their form (rings, brooches or bracelets), they are being snatched up with increasing fervor. So saying that they are becoming more difficult to find would not be an understatement, especially for rings which are an already challenging area of collecting in the vintage Mexican jewelry world...

Hinged bangle bracelets whether gem- or hard stone-studded, wrought in shadow-box or simply crafted in bold, massive silver are among my favorite designs by the Los Ballesteros workshop. The modernist, generously wide version at hand with its impressed “nested ellipses” and its bezel-set green jaspers is a first one for me...

This interesting sterling silver ring features an organic, bark-like surface that extends practically all the way around the band. It is marked for sterling, and shows some pitting on the interior from the casting process. The ring measures about ½ inch at the widest area; it is a size 8. Weight: 9.8 grams

Circa 1930's-early 40's, this necklace is a Fred Davis design, hallmarked simply "Silver Mexico".

It's a gorgeous piece, with large amethyst cabochons and carved malachite stones. It lays perfectly on the neck, measuring a closed, wearable length of 16 1/2". Width is 1 1/16". Amethysts measure 27mm x 20mm, with a depth of 11mm.

Weight is 87.6 grams.

In excellent vintage condition.
