This is a lovely 3-piece suite of earrings and a brooch, circa 1940's. The earrings and brooch have 3 layers of petals / leaves. The top of each one surrounds the turquoise stone. The earrings are screwback and measure 1/4" x 1/4" (x 1/2" high, from the lowest petal to the top of the stone). Each earring is marked SILVER MEXICO. The brooch displays 6 smaller stones with the same floral design with the top petals enveloping the stones. It measures 1 5/8" x 3/8" (x 1/4") and marked STERLING.

Intricate sterling silver 3 panel bracelet designed and signed in the 1950's by Taxco, Mexico modernist designer Sigi Pineda. Measures 1 1/8 inch wide at the center front. Every now and again, I will bump into a piece of Mexican jewelry incorporating an ancient artifact. Be that clay masks, carved little effigies or beads, they are always a treat and a source of great excitement. And when that piece is also signed by one of the big Taxco workshops, like the bracelet at hand, then it’s a real holiday! Out of their “mixed metals” line, this Los Castillo silver, brass and copper hinged bracelet is literally built around an amazing, silky smooth agate bead...

This bold studio piece is composed of a hand-wrought half-moon shaped pendant decorated with applied wires and impressed lines arranged randomly. It is suspended horizontally by a chain of forged wire bars connected by beaded rivets. The bib-like pendant is beautifully balanced to sit comfortably at the collarbone; the front hook closure makes for ease of fastening and removal. The reverse of the pendant bears the sterling mark on one end and a maker’s mark of sp on the other...

Modernist sterling pin with unique curved linear markings inset in the silver(see photos #2 & 3), by Rissa, c.1960's. Very interesting design and looks like two pieces of a puzzle with a hollow inside each piece. Measures 2 1/4" long by 1 1/4" wide and has good weight. A well made modernist bracelet in 835 silver with a design reminiscent of Juhls or Lapponia. Looks very Nordic or Scandinavian, but it is signed 835 Germany and what looks like conjoined KG in a circle. Unable to determine the maker.

A vintage Mexican silver (probably sterling or better) bracelet by Fred Davis in his classic floral link design. Has twelve turquoise cabochons and wide silver links on the top and bottom.

Measures approximately 7 1/2" long and 1 1/8" wide. In very nice condition, has some minor scratches and a little tarnish. Marked with the conjoined FD of the maker and Silver Mexico.

Has a box clasp that snaps securely. Pre Eagle, (Pre 1948).

This substantial sterling silver bracelet is designed as a classic double-hinged bangle, with eight sides. The modernistic fold-over clasp serves as one hinge, and has the same design as the opposite link. The bracelet bears the mark of Barcelona, Spain, jeweler Puig Doria, which is still producing jewelry of various materials in addition to silver. The bracelet dates to the 1970s and measures ½ inch wide, with an interior circumference of about 7 inches. Weight: 66.3 grams

This disc pin features a large faceted citrine in a bold prong setting. The stone has a light yellow-brown tinge and shows no signs of damage or wear. It is quite secure in its mount. The disc has a warm patina from age; the piece dates conservatively 1960-1970. The back has a secure rollover clasp and bears the marks for Mexican silver (eagle 42, circular 925 Sterling) as well as the maker’s mark for Los Ballesteros. There appears to have been a pendant bale or hook that has been removed...

Man w/guitar silver pin by Fred Davis, Mexico, c.1930. Measures 2 3/8" high by 1 5/8" wide and is signed "MADE IN MEXICO FD SILVER". Closes with early "C" clasp. Excellent condition except for a pinpoint dent at the middle of the face. Can be repaired by adding silver to that area but please check with your jeweler. Nice example of the work of Taller Borda designer Gabriel Flores (c.1950)who worked with Hector Aguilar and was allowed to use his own GF hallmark along with Aguilar's eagle # 9 and the Taller Borda hallmark. Face of each link is 1 inch X 1/2 inch wide.

Circa mid-century, this bracelet is the work of Felipe Martinez / Piedra Y Plata. Martinez, who had worked with Hubert Harmon in the 1940's, opened his shop "Piedra Y Plata" in 1950. Before opening his shop Martinez had been an expert sculptor. Features six dense green stones and a superb modernist design, Martinez was known for selecting spectacular stones, and this bracelet does not disappoint. Measures a closed, wearable length of 6 3/8", with a width of 11/16"...
