A stand out modernist sterling silver ring from Finland by Pekka Piekainen for Auran Kultaseppa. Iconic flared design. Very heavy and solid.

Marked on the back of the shank for Kultaseppa, Finland silver standard, 925, Town mark for Turku, and X7 for 1976. Also marked with the maker's mark and Finland. About a size 8.

In fine condition with some surface scratches and tarnish, shows some surface wear. There is a very tiny ding at one corner on the underside, you really have to look for it...

Composed of cast rectangular double links, this classy bracelet from the 1960s-1970s is sturdy and well made with completely soldered connecting bars. The bracelet has a good heft and a secure, clever clasp with a pressure spring closure. The bracelet is marked for sterling, with a partial mark of ITALY and a double-struck partial sterling mark. The bracelet measures 7 ¾ inches long and a little over ¼ inch wide. Weight: 29.6 grams

Spratling was known to have a large collection of Pre-Columbian Mayan & Olmec objects. He designed this necklace using hand wrought sterling silver beads, coral beads & hand carved obsidian Olmec figures most likely acquired from locals in the surrounding areas of Taxco, Mexico. The wearable length of the necklace is 16 inches and weighs 32 grams. Each carved image is unique and about 1/2" high. The necklace is in excellent condition. Clasp is tight & secure...

Two-piece sterling buckle with woman's head & hair made by UNGER BROTHERS, Newark, c.1905. Each piece measures approx. 1 1/2" wide by 1 3/8" high and the total width is 2 7/8". Woman has period art nouveau face, hair, and a rose set in the hair. Signed "UB STERLING 925 FINE" but is a bit hard to read. Handmade and repouseed. How often does one find a ring by renowned Taxco modernist Enrique Ledesma? Let me answer my question - almost never! Over the years of my buying, selling and researching vintage Mexican silver jewelry, I have come upon a few examples, almost all of them adorned with a color-change sapphire. I had never seen a ring in the design I am presenting here until I discovered this one some time ago...

A long necklace with silver and copper links and a central warrior shaped pendant in mixed metals attributed to Los Castillo.

The chain measures 24" long and has a hook clasp. The central pendant is made from married silver, copper, and brass metals and has an inlay of some kind of green stone. It measures 4" long and 1 3/4" at the widest.

Marked Hecho en Mexico on the reverse which is brass. Has some surface scratches and shows a little wear. We did not polish it...

Slick, strong design that brings to mind the best of Scandinavian modernism, this sterling silver studio-made necklace consisting of neck ring and pendant is an unsigned American beauty...

These gorgeous earrings each display two oval amethyst flower cabs, stemming out of leaves. They measure 1 1/2" long x 7/8" from leaf to leaf. The back of one is marked MEXICO STERLING. They are in excellent condition.

A vintage pair of figural screw back earrings attributed to Ex-pat Ken Beldin in copper and patinated brass. Screw backs are marked Silver Mexico.

Measure 2 3/8" long including the screw back top and 7/8" at the widest. Screw backs hold securely. They have some areas of tarnish. There are a lot of scratches on the back but we're not sure we see a signature.

The Nordic-style pendant is suspended from a cable chain with two large rings and no clasp. The back of the pendant bears the maker’s mark of Kalevala Koru, of Helsinki, Finland. It also shows the mark for the year 1971. The pendant measures 4 inches long, including the bail, and 2 inches wide; including the doubled chain, the entire necklace measures a little over 17 inches long. Weight: 26.8 grams

A mid century modernist three dimensional sterling silver brooch in the shape of an abstract cello. Very similar to the iconic Paul Lobel design. Unsigned.

Measures 3 1/4" long and 1 1/8" at the widest. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Well constructed. Has some minor surface scratches and some tarnish.

This beautiful brooch / pin measures 2 1/4" x 7/8" x 1/8". It features a leaf, inlaid with blue lapis stone, set flush in the silver. The back has a mark I cannot make out. This piece is in great condition.
