A vintage pair of sterling silver screw back earrings by Victoria Taxco, (Ana Nunez Brilanti), number 449.

Measure 1 1/4" high and 7/8" across. Marked with Victoria Taxco and Mexico on the back of one earring and 449 , Sterling and Eagle #12 on the back of the other.

Fine condition. Screw backs hold securely.

Hard to find design.

These Mod earrings dangle 1 3/4". They are 3/4" at their widest. The eyes are translucent: a dark purple. They are in great condition.

This is an excellent example of the Mexican Silver Renaissance with chrysoprase stones. The bracelet is 7.25in. long and 2.25in. tall. The cut work is without flaws and exhibits a strong presence on the arm. The weight is 84 grams. The necklace is outstanding. The drops are 2.25 in. tall and has a wearable length of approximately 16in. With the necklace built on a curve where the drops are you can not lay it exactly straight for measurement. The weight is 88 grams heavy...

A substantial set from Taxco's "middle period" this stunning necklace and earrings demi combines chunky cylinders of azur-malachite with shadow-box sterling box links. The result is quite impressive as the primarily green hues of the stone (the malachite is predominant here) are tempered by the variegated brown of the inclusions, all colors finally reflected in the glowing silver. I love a good chain necklace and this example combines good length with a presence that will never go unattended...

For a few years around WWII and possibly up to 1950, Marcel Boucher had a special line of silver jewelry made in Mexico under the name "Parisina". I don't think we know which workshop produced those pieces or whether they were made by a number of different silversmiths. I can, however, say that Parisina jewelry ranges from the very light-weight to the chunkier, more substantial examples and that the same variety is also reflected in their designs...

This is a very rare and spectacular necklace from Hector Aguilar, hand-wrought and executed in 940 silver.

Produced by Enrique Ledesma, this bracelet features four large golden sheen obsidian stones which seem to glow from within. The alternating repoussé silver panels have oxidized recesses, and the tongue in box closure is tight and perfect. Original safety chain is attached. This will fit up to a 6 1/4" wrist. The width is 15/16". Weight is 54.6 grams. Signed and hallmarked "Ledesma Plateria Cortes 925 Taxco Hecho en Mexico", with the eagle assay 6 and design # 401...

Beautiful art deco HANDWROUGHT sterling bracelet by Georg Jensen, USA, c.1945. Made during post-WW11, Jensen closed it's Denmark site and much of the Jensen jewelry was made in US during this period(1945-1951). Some lovely "HANDWROUGHT" designs were made that were specific to this period. This bracelet is signed "USA GEORG JENSEN INC. 429 STERLING HANDWROUGHT" and is in excellent condition. It measures 5/8" wide and 6 1/2" closed inside circumference...

One of the most elusive pieces designed by Danish modernist Hans Hansen, this sterling silver neck ring has been in my collection for a long time. The idea was to get a pendant by the same designer so as to complete the necklace but it never happened and I decided to give that same opportunity to someone else out there. An impressive, wide, handmade cuff bracelet of ethnic design. The textured band features an applied wavy line of silver on either side of three diamond-shaped reserves of an unidentified amber-colored stone that looks to have been crushed and resin-set. The inside of the bracelet is signed Lillo with possibly the word Creation underneath; it is also marked 925 for sterling...

Sterling modernist ring by silversmith Bill Tendler(1924-1981), NYC, c.1955. Bold architectural design using shiny silver columns set out from an oxydized background. The ring face measures 3/4" wide by 3/8" high and is size 4 3/4. The band has an interesting shape and is an integral part of the design. Lovely sterling and coral clip back earrings by Frank Patania Sr. circa 1950. Unique kidney shape with each tiny coral individually saw tooth bezel set. The sterling has a slight gold wash. Measuring 1 1/4" by 3/4", they weigh 18 grams total and are in fine original condition. Signed as shown. Great looking in every way.

A rare flower and dove bracelet, #23 in sterling silver with Chrysoprase cabochons designed by the Danish silversmith, Georg Jensen. Marked with the stylized GJ in a rectangle that dates it between 1933-44. Also marked with Sterling, Denmark, 925 and 23 for the style number.

Measures 7" long and 1" at the widest. Weighs 35 gr. Has a round box closure that holds securely. Additionally it has a fold over safety catch.
