Signed Los Castillo and constructed with thick silver weighing 84 grams. The repousse is beautifully fashioned with flowing curls and beaded sides and a dark natural patina. This clamper bracelet is design 250 with the artist being Margot Van Voorhies before her divorce to Antonio Castillo. The presence is stunning with a height of 2.5 inches. Fits most with an inner diameter of 2 3/8th inches. No dents, strong spring and no repairs. One of the very best from the Spratling era.

Gorgeous deep red Mediterranean coral tear drop stones and center pearl in this sterling ring by Arizona Modernist H. Fred Skaggs. It is a size 6 and sits about 3/4" high from the finger when on. Weighing 10 grams, it is in fine original condition and signed as shown. His work is increasingly harder to find since it is highly collected. A spectacular ring.

This impressive 2 3/4" sterling silver cuff studded with 30 amethyst cabs was hallmarked c. 1940 by Manuel Altamirano, senior silversmith in Hector Aguilar's Taller Borda. Interior length measures 5 1/2" end to end. The gap opening is 1 1/2". Terminals measure 2 3/4" wide, center front is 2 1/2" wide. Weight 79 grams. The bracelet is in beautiful condition. See p. 198 of Silver Masters of Mexico for more detailed information on Altamirano. Pieces signed Altamirano are scarce.

This sterling silver and rosewood pin was designed and in the 1940's by American and Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling. Brooch measures 2 1/4" X 2". A vintage stunning sterling silver necklace, bracelet and matching earrings by Plateria FarFan from Mexico.

Marked on the back of the necklace and bracelet Hecho en Mexico 925 D. F. around FarFan.

Necklace measures about 16" around and 1 1/4" wide. The necklace is slightly curved so lays nicely on the neck. Has a box clasp that snaps securely.

The bracelet measures about 7 1/4" long and 1 5/8" wide. Has a box clasp that snaps securely.

Being offered is a rare circa 1955 sterling silver and obsidian stone bracelet by Alfredo Villasana of Taxco, Mexico. The handcrafted thick gauge silver cuff set with a large round obsidian stone secured by four spiral prong settings, secured with box clasp. Villasana worked for William Spratlng and Hector Aguilar before opening his own shop in Taxco. Dimensions: Size 8”; stone is 1 3/4" by 2 1/4"; band is 3/4" wide. Marked as illustrated. In excellent condition.

A gorgeous pair of sterling clip back earrings with wire wrapped blue topaz stones by Arizona Modernist H. Fred Skaggs. They measure 1 1/4" by 1 1/8"and weigh 18 grams total. The cabochon blue topaz is slightly darker than the camera captures and these stones are free of chips or cracks. Fine original condition and signed as shown. It has become almost impossible to find a pair of Fred Skaggs earrings with stones for sale. They seem to have all gone into the hands of collectors and not come out...

Vintage brown leather belt with sterling and coral belt buckle, and sterling end tip and keeper by Navajo Kee Joe Benally. Now deceased, he began working in the 50's and was employed by Woodard's Indian Shop in Gallup, NM for 15 years. The belt buckle measures 2 3/4" by 2 1/4". It has precise line chiseling as does the keeper and end tip. A vibrant bezel set red coral stone highlights the buckle. The leather belt is 45" end to end and is 1 1/4" wide...

The repousse work is outstanding on this design 543 Los Castillo bracelet. It is 2 inches tall with a hook closure. The old linear hallmark and the design itself shows that this was the work of Margot Van Voorhies when married to Antonio Castillo. Together they formed the taller Los Castillo. The links are rounded to fit the arm perfectly and are 6.75 inches long. An outstanding bracelet to add to a collectors wardrobe. It will be noticed by all that gaze upon it.
