An Arts and Crafts period sterling silver pendant with a large oval amethyst colored cabochon. Pendant measures 1 3/8" long and 1 1/8" across. Chain measures 17" long and closes with a spring clasp. Cabochon is a deep purple color and has many inclusions. This is somewhat larger than what we usually find and it really makes the design stand out. In fine condition with minor tarnish and surface scratches. Nice example of Arts and Crafts period jewelry.

Los Castillo design number 291 is an amazing piece of wearable art. The repousse has carving on top that only consists of masterful strokes. The necklace has a wearablility of 17 inches. Each dragon is 3in. tall and 2.5in. wide. The repousse is thick with a quality weight of 100 grams heavy. There are no dents or damage or repairs of any kind. This is one of the Mexican Silver Renassiance's finest works, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Antonio Pineda is best known for his masterfully designed silver jewelry. He did little in the way of hollowware making this set quite rare as well as beautiful. It consists of a sterling tray measuring 8" x 12" and 5 cups that are 3" tall. All have a bamboo design trim. The tray weighs 18.25 ounces and each cup is 110 grams.
