From my own collection here is a wonderful amethyst color pearl, frosted bead, swarowski crystal, amethyst toned aurora bourealis faceted crystals with tiny rhondells with brilliant r/s. The metal on the segments is darkened. Holding each segment together is a silver jump ring (not sure if sterling). I do not know if these were added later or if they are original. Here we have a large deeply hand carved bakelite pin that has an intricately carved floral and leaf design. It has varying shades of dark and light green with a touch of yellow. It measures 2 ¾” in diameter, ¼” thick and has an embedded pin with a safety clasp. It is in excellent vintage condition with only some very light surface scratches consistent with age and use. It is guaranteed vintage bakelite.
