A PAIR OF ART DECO 10K WHITE GOLD DOUBLE CUFFLINKS by the FRANK KREMENTZ COMPANY. NEWARK, N.J., circa 1920's. Stamped on the back of each circular link with the conjoined initials FK and stamped on each connector bar: H10K. A handsome pair of vintage mid-century cufflinks, the rectangular faces set with very fine quality rubies and diamonds. A cushion-cut ruby is set in one corner of each face and radiating outward from it are bead-set, brilliant round-cut diamonds. Though the design is somewhat simple, the quality and generosity of materials is very good. A handsome set of cufflinks and three shirt studs worked in 14K yellow gold with onyx and seed pearls. The square faces are bordered with gold edges decorated in a classical bound reed design. The onyx plaques are carved with concave centers to accommodate the post-set pearls. This shape also helps reflect the color of the pearls in the luster of the onyx.
