This beautiful old all hand crafted Navajo made copper bracelet has no hallmark. In the early days, lots of jewelry was made with copper due to the lack and cost of silver. Nice finish on the ends, hand hammered twisted copper wire and a round copper wire in the center.
Inside measurements end-to-end are 5 1/2 inches. Opening is 1 1/2 inch. Bracelet is ½ inch wide on top and 5/8 inches wide on the ends. Weight is 1.50 oz. or 43 grams.

This interesting piece was sold to me as a trade necklace. I'm not certain if it was made here or came
from the Spanish folks on the way north for trading with the natives. The coral is beautiful, and all of the holes of the coins are pressed out with a tool, not machine drilled.
Coins on the cluster centerpiece are form 1878 to 1906. The newest coin is from 1910. All of the coins except the center one, it is a Mexican coin 1906, are from Guatemala. Beautiful hand made silver beads and pi... Click for details

Circa 1940’s to early ’50s … In the several years that I have been collecting vintage Peruvian silver, this brooch is one of the most interesting and well constructed that I have come across {aside from my Graziella Laffi pieces!}. With an undulating rectangular form, and deeply convex center that imbues it with superb depth and dimensionality, the brooch boasts three Inca glyphic figurals applied to an intricately chased, grid-like background. The figures depict a crouching tiger {perhaps the W... Click for details

Dazzling Men's cuff bracelet is crafted in sterling silver and 24kt gold. The totemic symbols on either side depict the Eagle;notice if you will, the interesting hand tooling within the ovoid forms. The center holds a large polished ivory slab, probably walrus. You will want to check your measure as this one is nearly rigid. Measures 5 3/4" on the INSIDE and an additional 1 1/4"+ gap. Face measures 1 7/8" and tapers slightly to the terminals which are rounded. Full hallmarks as shown. Finest con... Click for details

Clean, simple floral treatment with very unique, likely homemade, leaf stamp and unusual edge treatment. I like the effect of the overlapping stamps on the edge -- it's a nice touch. Signs of wear, so someone loved this prior to it coming to me. It would look nice alone, or "stacked" with other bracelets in the "S'West style."
If worn alone, the nice thing about silver bands without stones is that you can forget about them. I have a friend who lives in his ingot band bracelet. Sleeps in i... Click for details

What a find! These darling little buttons were "saved" at some point by being soldered together into a small bar pin, which was popular ornamentation on women's dresses in the 1940s. The edge treatment on the buttons is actually rather unusual, with the stamp work giving almost a crinkled appearance. The turquoise couldn't be better: a robin's egg blue that's hard and very high quality. That's the color and type of turquoise most coveted by Native Americans.
Lots of wear and love, for certai... Click for details
