A charming pair of Santo Domingo Pueblo screwback earrings made for sale to the tourists at the railroad stops. These are a typical example from the 1940's or 1950's. The earrings are made of found materials - battery case or 78 rpm records (black), plastic spoons and forks (red and white), and real turquoise. Their production pretty much stopped after the 1950's, and they have become very collectible.
Measures: 3/4" x 7/8"
