Circa 1940’s to early ’50s … In the several years that I have been collecting vintage Peruvian silver, this brooch is one of the most interesting and well constructed that I have come across {aside from my Graziella Laffi pieces!}. With an undulating rectangular form, and deeply convex center that imbues it with superb depth and dimensionality, the brooch boasts three Inca glyphic figurals applied to an intricately chased, grid-like background. The figures depict a crouching tiger {perhaps the W... Click for details

Clean, simple floral treatment with very unique, likely homemade, leaf stamp and unusual edge treatment. I like the effect of the overlapping stamps on the edge -- it's a nice touch. Signs of wear, so someone loved this prior to it coming to me. It would look nice alone, or "stacked" with other bracelets in the "S'West style."
If worn alone, the nice thing about silver bands without stones is that you can forget about them. I have a friend who lives in his ingot band bracelet. Sleeps in i... Click for details

What a find! These darling little buttons were "saved" at some point by being soldered together into a small bar pin, which was popular ornamentation on women's dresses in the 1940s. The edge treatment on the buttons is actually rather unusual, with the stamp work giving almost a crinkled appearance. The turquoise couldn't be better: a robin's egg blue that's hard and very high quality. That's the color and type of turquoise most coveted by Native Americans.
Lots of wear and love, for certai... Click for details
