Buttery antique ivory armband or armlet as they are called, is carved in a smooth oval shape. Worn on the upper arm, arm rings were popularized by the flappers of the roaring 20s. In Sri Lankan culture, they are frequently worn by brides as they are said to ward off ill fate. This is African tusk ivory and probably a trophy of a safari of the era...also the rage of the time. A large and dramatic natural ivory bangle with ornate silver mounts. This (possibly East Indian) bracelet measures 1-1/4" across and over 3/8" thick; the thick unmarked but tested silver mounts have high relief animals and the clasp is a simple pin. Vintage Navajo silver neckpiece with turquoise pendant drop. All silver has been hand fabricated and planished. You can see planishing marks on the back of the neckpiece. Here is an intricately carved pre ban ivory bracelet with a beautiful deep dimensional design. It measures 2 ½” inside diameter, 3 ¼” outside and 5/16” wide and deep. There are 4 delicately cut roses surrounded by carved leaves. The bracelet is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks.

Beautiful Old Pawn styling to this Navajo cuff bracelet. Its sterling silver and signed by artist RW for R Williams, an artist for Bowser Begay Trading. Approx. 6" interior end to end.1 1/8" Gap. Face is 1 1/8" wide. Beautiful matrix in these cabochon and teardrop shaped natural turquoise stones. This one is solid, has oxidized plate, cuff portion is polished. Very Fine condition.
