Beautiful and Large, old silver Pawn brooch is Navajo made and typical of tourist pieces produced for the trading posts that cropped up along Route 66 from the turn of the century up to the 40s. Its rare to find a piece actually marked "coin silver" but this one is. "Coin silver" is 90 percent pure silver and 10% alloy and is called coin because Native American jewelry makers melted down pre 1900 American and Mexican coins before they were able to obtain commercially made ingots and sheet silver... Vintage Navajo silver neckpiece with turquoise pendant drop. All silver has been hand fabricated and planished. You can see planishing marks on the back of the neckpiece. There is a double curb chain in the back of the neckpiece making an adjustable fit with a hook and eye closure. There are symbols on the front of the neckpiece. Beautiful Old Pawn styling to this Navajo cuff bracelet. Its sterling silver and signed by artist RW for R Williams, an artist for Bowser Begay Trading. Approx. 6" interior end to end.1 1/8" Gap. Face is 1 1/8" wide. Beautiful matrix in these cabochon and teardrop shaped natural turquoise stones. This one is solid, has oxidized plate, cuff portion is polished. Very Fine condition. Probably dating from 60s to 70s

Handsome and solid, handmade sterling silver cuff bracelet and matching earrings by Award Winning Navajo silversmith, Andy Marion. Andy, works in New Mexico and her papa and teacher is Al Yazzie. Exceptional condition. Flawless carnelian cabochon is beautiful in the light. Pierced Earrings are part of this original set. Cuff is 5 5/8" inside, Plus 1 1/8" gap. Wt. 84g, Earrings measure 3" long, lots of flash and movement when worn.
