This Art Deco Bohemian garnet circular wreath pin is an estate piece, and a very nice one at that. Its three rows of prong set rose cut Bohemian garnets are graduated in size and are all genuine pyrope garnet stones original to the pin. The garnets sparkle a fiery wine red in the light and are set in open back 900 silver, gold washed bezels. The pin is stamped 900 and has an older safety clasp dating this to approximately 1930-ish. This is a wonderful Art Deco period 14k yellow gold match safe with blue sapphire, c. 1920. The match safe is European in origin and has an engine-turned design on both sides. The safe measures 2" (not including bail and jumpring) x 1 1/2" and is 1/4" deep.
