This is Hector Aguilar’s sterling silver bracelet. It was designed and made in Aguilar's taller in Taxco, Mexico circa 1940-1945. The beaded circles are linked together by 3 separate elongated thick silver wires.One of these bracelets is illustrated on page 63 of Morrill's book: Silver Masters of Mexico. This is a rare pair of day and night earrings from mid 19th century Mexico. The day portion of the earrings features a split natural pearl set in a 22k yellow gold flower. The night portion of the earrings features rows of rubies, most likely imported from India, set in a cone of 22k yellow gold, embellished with small articulated natural pearls. This bracelet weighs 26 grams (0.92 oz) and measures 18.5 cm (7 1/4") of wearable length by 2 cm (3/4") wide. Signed "Parra" in script and marked "Sterling", "Hecho en Mexico" and "Eagle 34".
