This is a very rare English Georgian brooch. Dates to circa 1830.These brooches are often seen but you don't see many with deep green paste stones.The colors of green and purple are the rarest colors in antique paste. These are the color of fine quality emeralds.This diminutive brooch measures 17mm by 13mm. All in very good condition with a half pearl surround.The mount is made from rolled gold but most of the gold outer layer has worn away leaving the base metal core.

Very similar to the designs of Peruzzi and Cini, this hand crafted filigree like Florentine renaissance fleur de lis design ring is made in an unusual 14 karat white gold rather than the more common yellow.
