Go back in time with this beautiful bracelet. The focal point is an intricately engraved 14 karat Victorian box catch from the end of the 19th century. Two rows of curb chain sandwich a central row of a texturized fancy link chain. These 14 karat chains may be of the same age as the large clasp or may have been added later, in the 1920’s. The catch is engraved with the initials SGR and the whole bracelet measures approximately 7 ½ inches long.

This precious Victorian Etruscan bracelet dates from the latter half of the 19th century. The piece is made up of textured and domed 14 karat gold rounds connected by flexible joints with balls on each end, making each link circular with the suggestion of a square. Unusual find in hair jewelry..a watch fob! This fob is braided, box stitch and swirl, and decorated with engraved gold trim on both sides and the middle. The gold appears to be authentic. In the middle gold trim are jewels, one appears to be a ruby the other a pearl. A watch fob was used by a gentleman to secure the watch in his pants pocket.
