Ana Brilanti (1907-1999), among the finest designers of the early Taxco silver movement. This, her "Angel" pattern set consists of a choker style necklace and matching earrings. These are made in the shadowbox style with oxidized back plates. The choker style necklace measures approx 14 1/2 as worn and 5/8" wide, the earrings same scale. This is a really wonderful and rare sterling silver bracelet with repousse bug clasp by Frank M. Whiting, c. 1900. Whiting made sterling flatware and finding jewelry by him is very rare. This bracelet has large links which are hollow and constructed of heavy gauge sterling. The clasp features a raised bug and is marked on the back with Whiting's mark and "Sterling".
