Antique Sterling Silver Chain With Sterling Fob Circa. 1920 American. 23.5 inch chain is .25 inch in width. The fob (pendant) measures 1 1/4 inches high x 1 inch wide.
Handmade links on chain are individually soldered. Total weight with fob is 25.1 gr.
16.2 dwt. Both chain and fob are in pristine condition.

This romantic portrait in silver, of a wind-swept person in a cloak and hood, is very detailed and just lovely. I tend to think it’s a boy, as the hair seems to be quite short under the hood. The hood itself almost looks more like a cap made from a flower, like those Victorian fairies wore in the paintings in children’s books.
