Here is a lovely lady all dressed up for a party! Her hair is in a bun with a spray of laurel leaves, and she wears an off-the-shoulder gown with a shawl, set off by a rose in full bloom. On the back it is signed “PLATA 950”. She has a nice patina, and is in very good condition. 1” in diameter, not including the bale and ring. The piece weighs 5.4gr or 0.19oz. I have silver chains, if you need one. Circa 1900.

This lovely lady has stars in her long hair and above her head – so romantic! She looks contemplative, and has a lyre in her hand. It looks like she’s leaning against a harpsichord, which is graced by leafy vines. The detail is lovely. The signature looks like it might be “Ciottuzzo” and something else, but I can’t make it out. On the other side it says “Conservatorio Musical Buenos Aires / Rossini / Mencion Especial”. No hallmarks, but it tests at 90-100% silver, and weighs 0.47oz. I don’t know... Click for details

This sash or belt buckle is quite unusual in my experience, with the mix of metals. The silver tested at 90-100% silver, however it looks as though it’s plate – I can see yellow metal showing through at some of the high points. I believe the gold to be about 9kt, and it’s also a plating or overlay of some sort. The buckle measures 3 x 2-1/2" and weighs in at 47.5 grams. Unmarked. This is a gorgeous French Art Nouveau silver locket with mirror, c. 1900. The locket has beautiful repousse floral designs on the front and back and slides open to a mirror inside. It measures 1 7/8" (not including the bale or jumpring) x 1 3/8" and is in excellent condition. The locket is engraved with an "L" on the back and is marked "Depose" on the front.
