Beautiful Baltimore silver cuff by S. Kirk & Sons. Mid 20th century, in an Art Nouveau design which originated in the early 20th century. Marked S KIRK & SONS and 19F. It weighs 46 grams. With a dark aged finish. Great size -- 1 1/4 inches wide and 7 inches inside circumference including the gap. Excellent condition. Photos enlarged to show detail.

This romantic portrait in silver, of a wind-swept person in a cloak and hood, is very detailed and just lovely. I tend to think it’s a boy, as the hair seems to be quite short under the hood. The hood itself almost looks more like a cap made from a flower, like those Victorian fairies wore in the paintings in children’s books.
