Here is a sweet little stick pin with oranges, orange blossoms and leaf motif. The champlevé enamel is in excellent condition, except a few black dots which appear to be on the surface – it’s hard to tell, and you can’t see them without magnification. The actual pin part has some minor bends in it – please see photos. The back is marked “STERLING” and “CHAMPLEVE”, and there are some marks that I haven’t been able to identify yet. Circa ???

Offered here is a stunning brooch of sterling silver in a floral motif in the form of a branch with leaves and buds. The tip of the buds are round coral stones. It is well detailed and has a fine patina. The pin measures 3" in length. The clasp and hinge work just fine. It is marked sterling but has no maker's mark. I would say this is probably very early 20th century.

This charming brooch is not in perfect shape, but it still has much to recommend it – it’s really very pretty and wearable. Plique a jour jewels are very hard to come by these days – as you may know, they are somewhat fragile, rare, and I believe that a large percentage of them are now in collections. This piece, which seems to be a maple leaf, is missing one leaf. Some enterprising person filled in the space with a drop made of green agate. Along the main vein of each leaf and the stem are past... Click for details
