Rare offering:Coveted aesthetic movement flora and fauna theme showing sterling dimensional beetle on a leaf pin, by George Shiebler, New York, 1880. This beautiful piece has a slight gold wash on the leaf highlighting the silver beetle and measures 2 1/4" wide by 2 1/8" wide. It is signed "Shiebler mark STERLING 1416" with original Shiebler locking device. Excellent condition except for tiny 1/8" antenna missing, which can be replaced.....$16 for USA insured shipping & applicable NY tax.

Unusual and very large arts & crafts sterling/moonstones/garnets double pin, c.1910. Made of very heavy gauge silver(90 grams) these two hand made designs with applied decorative silver work are attached with a double silver chain. Marked "STERLING", they are are in excellent condition. The dimensional left hand piece measures 3 3/4" long by 1 3/8" wide. The right hand piece is 3" long by 1 5/8" wide. Outstanding sterling silver pin decorated in a Celtic knot pattern. Many of the leading Arts & Crafts designers in England worked with this motif. Although unmarked, this pin is possibly the work of Charles Horner. The reverse is marked “Silver”. The pin retains its original tube hinge, extended pinstem and c-clasp, and has a nice old patina.

Period arts & crafts sterling with 7 (black)opals set in a decorative classic hand made setting, c.1920. The large-scale ring has seven opal doublets and have a wonderful color and could be black rather than white opals. The colors are rich with fire and translucence. The decorative ring with a silver balls design shows a center rectangular opal surrounded by 6 smaller stones. All stones are original. Period arts & crafts hand made silver and copper mixed metals cuff and earrings set, c.1918. Set includes HUGE cuff measuring 3" WIDE with an 8" inside diameter including the 2" opening. Screwback earrings measure 1 1/8" square. The design on both consists of a copper body with silver dots of various sizes applied to the copper. Sterling silver watch fob by George W. Shiebler. An outstanding example of the "Medallion" or "Curio Medallion" line, this watch fob is comprised of a horizontal log-like bar inscribed with the Greek letters "XAPIE" suspending five discs depicting Greek gods and goddesses. Pictured from left they are Zeus, unknown, Pallas Athena, unknown, and Mercury. The two unknown images are female and probably depict Aphrodite, Hera or Demeter. This is an utterly fascinating sterling set; it has the look of fine custom work. It features a sterling link bracelet and necklace with beautifully articulated sterling bones: one bone in the bracelet; three in the necklace. The workmanship is first rate and the hallmark has an arts & crafts look, although the piece may be later. A one of a kind set in mint condition. Bracelet measures 7 ¾”; necklace is 19 ½” long.
