A wonderful handwrought Art Deco solid silver pin from Albert Kahlbrandt (1878 - 1961) of Hamburg. The brooch clearly shows the influence of the Bauhaus in its design & execution, a simple rectangular form, the only decoration is the wave given to the surface plane and the hand hammered texture that highlights it. Very pretty silver marcasite bracelet, circa 1920. It is set with rose cut chalcedony stones. More unusual to find this shape as most from this era are flat cut and faceted.
