A lovely Nye Sterling Silver Bar pin or Brooch in the shape of a graceful Scroll with Dogwood Blossom center. The pin is Contemporary, within the last 30 years and made by Stuart Nye of North Carolina 1933- present. All of the Jewelry is hand made and quite lovely. Stuart Nye died in 1962. This Trifari crown is sterling with rhinestones and cabochons. It is marked Trifari, sterling, patent 137542. This crown was designed by Alfred Philippe in 1944 and advertised in Vogue on December 15th of 1945. It is in excellent condition except that it needs a good cleaning. It is 1.25" x 1.25"

This piece is unbelievable! Exquisite craftmanship. An irregular shaped cabochon of turquoise is bezel set inside of an open heart of sterling silver hollow construction with beautiful metalwork around the opening. Has a nice size bail. Chain is a simple cable marked sterling and measuring 24 inches long. The heart pendant measures 2 x 2 inches. Height of heart is about 3/8 inch. Excellent condition.
